    Plan my setup?

Bearlokey13 has a good point and your not mentioning anything about it. It's possible to get in that range, but doesn't mean it will. Installation, enclosure, and direction of driver(s) and port, all come into play, the only way to tell is to install it and meter it.

    ShiZZZoN's Build Log

    sweet results.

    Aloha!

Yes. Prepare to learn Welcome to SSA, The awesomest forum ever.
  4. Are they 1000watts rms each?

    Plan my setup?

15" BTL and a saz-2000d would be a good setup under $1000 ScottXGTR is selling a new saz-2000d in F/S section for $425. I'm not entirely sure what your stock alt and battery can handle as far as current draw. 2000watts may be pushing it, but you could always lower the gain.

    Plan my setup?

My guess is if you won't replace your stock alt, then your budget isn't going to be very much...

    opps, was thinking crx

    Plan my setup?

What vehicle is this going in? cr-v (username)? suv (in text)? whats your budget? your going to need wiring,fuse(s),amp(s),driver(s),enclosure,etc... Can you build your own enclosure or are you going to pay someone else to build one. since you stated you want spl, tune high. Are you planning on competing? Or is this just for playing music?
  9. it works fine for me x2, Now that we've seen how stiff your roof is, now we'll see how much it STILL flexes from the xcons
  10. I personally wouldn't bother

    2 x Fi Q 18" Wall build in a Celica T23

Love your build, everything is done so well Can't wait for more pics on progress, keep it up
  12. thats a great score Hope to see you break that 150mark. Post what you do in the mean time (2weeks) and your minor adjustments for gaining some deebeezz I've read moving your driver and/or passenger seat forward/back and tilted can make a difference
  13. just trim the ends a little.
  14. I retract my statement and agree with CrazyKenKid. Bigger wire doesn't cost much more and isn't going to have any negative effects. Will you hear an audible difference from 12g to 10g? most likely not, competing, then maybe...
  15. You won't be able to tell any difference

    SA-8 as midbass?

On the previous post talking about having them in the doors, they were most likely a IB setup, so maybe sealed would work? as for how much power they take, If I ran 800watts for midbass, I'd just have a lot of midbass I'll look into the E8, thanks
  17. SSA FTMFW Lets see that xcon pound! As for everyone talking about break in, it's not like a car where you need to stay under a certain rpm until xxx miles, it's more of: the more you play it and it loosens up you may notice it gradually get louder

    SA-8 as midbass?

I'm assuming because the drivers are designed to reproduce lower frequency? Well I'm interested in getting some wicked midbass. Guess I'll go check into j-roadtatts build log
  19. Man you guys are hauling ass on this build, I love the quick updates with tons of footage
