I like the reducers cause I take out my Amps a lot and it keeps the wire from getting frayed.

What kind of jeep? I'm putting a 18" BL in my jeep wrangler next week

amps fuse rating is 120a, not sure how much will be left for everything else in your car, anyway... your comparing a jeep to a ferrari... I'll tell you what you want to hear, will it get loud? if the enclosure is proper (which I don't know since you haven't specified anything) and the rest of your install is done correctly then yes it will get loud. But my idea of "loud" may be different then your idea of "loud", and will it sound good? Sure if your enclosure is done right...

get a voltmeter so you can watch your voltage, if it drops a lot then gain down til your voltage is looking alright. Then down the road you can replace your starting battery with a bigger one, or add a second, or h/o alt, then you can just turn your gain back up to take full advantage of your amp. Some vehicles have decent oem alts and can run a 1200watt amp fairly well, while others cannot.

X2, changing box tuning a couple hertz VS your cone area gain, cone area win! You should be very pleased with the outcome -
Is really that difficult for you to visit ficaraudio.com and look it up...Sealed box: 3.5-5 cuft well the topic reads some goals that need to be achieved so its better to ask SSD users for realistic and experienced recommendations.. why so much anger? i am here for some help on behalf of my friend , if you can't , atleast don't spoil it too. I apologize for being rude, I understand your thinking but who would be more experienced then the manufacturer? What vehicle is this going in?

you guys kinda messed up, should measured and figured out your volume before buying the biggest thing you can. Now if you did a sealed box, 4.5cubes would fall into recommended specs But whether using a sealed box (fair amount of output loss compared to PROPER ported enclosure) vs a small ported enclosure, I don't know which will have more output. But I will leave you with that thought

This may give a better understanding, pretty simple design

Tell that to Kryptonwhite... Numerous highly reputable people have tried telling him whats best for his goals and application wise, but he seems to think he knows better.

They are, but some people think if you put them in a large enough enclosure then it's the same as IB.
