SSA Forum is 8 years old & SSA Inc. is 4 years old today.
ssh replied to Aaron Clinton's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
I've only just recently taken some steps into car audio but I've learned fast enough that SSA is by far the best forum out there, doesn't have all this BS crap a lot of others do. I thank Mark and Aaron for making some exceptional speakers and for making an awesome community. -
I use the dark, it's easy on the eyes

Thanks, I wouldn't have time to work on the car if I was posting on other sites like I've been doin' here. 2-time SSA Forum?? NO way!! I know what you mean some people have their whole build logs over several forums and I'm like howd they come up with the time for all that lol. What battery(s) are you waiting on? Long Story......short version-2-Kinetik HC600's buried under amp rack. Did not have isolated from front. Had a draw and killed them. They will not charge back up. Talked to tech support and getting it handled but have to wait for the processing time. Volts dip Looooow if we try to bang on it. Sucks cause now we are ready to use them and they are DRT. oh... is kinetik pretty good with replacing them? good customer service? And I know what you mean as far as voltage drop my stock alt idles at 13.5v...on a good day XD This is my first experience with them. Called, answer, transfer to tech support, gave info on what was goin' on, tranfered to guy that asked for some info and now we are waiting on replacsments. Not bad at this point. Sounds like their the perfect size company, not hard to contact as some smaller companies, but not so big that their CS goes to shit. Hope everything gets sorted out. This car is going to be ridiculously awesome when it's finished and playing some tunes!

since when are you a regular, do you get emailed to regulate after 1000 posts? i want 1000 posts lol....the raptars are so badass. I have no clue what your talking about regulating... and yes I just made my thousandth post plus one. Yeah they come with a ton of stuff people would normally add on later. This, mustang, or gt40 is about the only vehicles ford makes that interests me.

I live in the Hate State... fuck brewer.

Is there a 2010 raptor out? or is 2011 available now? I've seen a couple around town and they look pretty slick

Here we go, 97 Dodge Grand Caravan build, with keepin room for family

You got plenty of space for everything Whenever I see an empty vehicle I always start figuring out what you can fit in But sa12s won't take up that much space in a van and still yield tons of output -

You asking all these questions that don't even relate to your topic thread or section... Post a new topic for each individual question you have, and without flooding the forum -

Your car is SO CLEAN, I love it. I hope it's going posted on some other car forums as this build isn't just audio but everything awesome

haha thanks. The BL is real nice, I have the gain on my 1500d set pretty conservatively and it still pounds like a beast. Hopefully I'll have time tomorrow to get a couple short vids in I still have to test box positioning distance from tail gate, right now it's about 5"...

will an audiopipe ap3000 see 1ohm
ssh replied to bdogg81's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Quit posting bullshit threads, Every thread you start, you never post back in, your just gaining post count so you can sell your shit. -
ScottXGTR was selling a saz2000d in the for sale section, not sure if hes sold it yet or not, but it would be a good amp for the btl
-
I started with two drivers and switched to a single, definitely cheaper buying one verse two. Either direction you go, you won't be disappointed.

Xcon 15" - Smallest sealed box ever used?
ssh replied to Viperoni's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
You may be better off reconing to a 12", just a thought. Or get a bigger amp to make up for the output difference. -
I don't believe the ssds would hit lower notes louder then the btl would, enclosure tuning would make more of a difference
-
I wouldn't run any amp to 0.5ohms unless your competing and have a lot of imp rise to even it out.
-
only difference between this topic and the other is, the other guy was an arseho and this guy isn't
-
is this with the 3500d at 1ohm or .5? I have a hard time believing voltage isn't a problem when your trying to pull 400+ amps if its at .5 P.S. Nice numbers
