I've personally heard the xcons before and I have to say it was the loudest AND best sq.

are you planning on upgrading your amp or using 2000d for xcon or smd? 4gauge is not sufficient enough for the kind of power you want to run... Get a dmm or a lcd voltmeter and see how much your voltage drops at full tilt. If your going to take full advantage of that 2000d I would at least suggest another battery in the rear... If you can't afford everything then just do one thing at a time... not like were all rich.

If you go with 3 sa8s, what voice coil impedance would you get? Depending on if you get dual 1ohm or dual 2ohm's you can wire down to the following: 0.67,1.5 for 3 d1 OR 1.34,3ohm for 3 d2 (just something to think about)

yep, btw you don't need to run two sets of wire from headunit for remote turn on, just run +12v from h/u into master amp and run another wire from +12v on master to +12v on slave.

I use the iridium ones made by NGK and I think they are about $8-$10 each, but imo it's worth it.
