I'm not sure if you can charge via usb or not, it has it's own proprietary connection (a copy of Apple's magnetic power connection where you get the cable near the power input and it pulls itself in). So yes you can charge it while using the usb port. It also has bluetooth. Aside from having a usb cable plugged in routing to a hub in the dash, you can also get something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Juiced-Systems-Microsoft-Surface-Adapter/dp/B00C7AQXQQ/ref=pd_sim_sbs_pc_1 if you have the space.

I will say I don't use the tiles screen much, but the swipe gestures for apps is pretty sweet.

I haven't figured out how to disable the login yet so I have to put in a pin/password when it turns on, but boot time including putting in 4 digit pin is 10 seconds. There might be some edit to the registry or some program to disable the login, that would bring it down to ~5 seconds. It's only got one usb port so you'd have to use a usb hub to split it up. Gmaps app is legit, works well, but now that I think about it the surface doesn't have cellular internet or GPS, so if you can't get it internet somehow then it would be worthless for maps, and without GPS it wouldn't be "nav."

What do you need it for? Any gaming or intense processing?

That's crazy. How are the antibiotics working?

Sean, I got a surface pro if there's anything you want me to test.

Pick me up at six.

Seth, do you have access to Mercedes schematics? I'm looking for the cylinder order for their OM642 3.0L V6 diesel engine. It's used in the Sprinter vans. The dealership swapped out one of the glow plugs but I'm not sure if they did the right one...

No.

Best bet is to get a 30 day trial of Adobe Photoshop, or if you attend a major university you can probably get it for free.

It's for the pump. More blood, more nutrients. Etc. Now a lot of powerlifters transition quickly to bodybuilding. Safer lifting is everywhere now, and frankly, the drugs are better, or rather the info on how to use them is better. Haven't bodybuilders been successful transitioning into powerlifting? Ie: they built all the raw muscle then they transition to strength work. I could be full of shit, I don't really follow either group much, but that's what I heard from someone I consider smart on the matter.

I don't know how true it is but on the comments of the site there was a user claiming that because of the power they were using and the lasers themselves being unmodulated? that they could cause blindness extremely easily. The guy claimed his friend was playing with one and it reflected off something into his eye for a second, made him blind for a few weeks, and now he has permanent damage where his vision is shit. I don't mean to sound like a mom or hint that people shouldn't have to be responsible with such, nor do I even know if the post was true, but reading it definitely made me think twice about considering one. I mean I'm a pretty fucking responsible person and I think I'd have a lower probability of an accident with a firearm than accidentally shining a laser on a reflective surface for a split second. Wow that came out long, and now I seem like those old next door neighbors that complain about everything.

That is fucking sweet Now I just need to learn it! I'm hoping I can get it to run decently on a surface pro, if so I'll have the ultimate setup for taking notes and doing classwork.

Get the rifle first, you'll be amazed at how easily the rest comes after.

<- Didn't know Matlab was available natively for Linux.

You can make a bunch of snowmen, how exciting!

One of those deals you can't pass and gave me something to do on a Sunday afternoon. That's how I got my dcons. Pair of 10" plus a small amp and an enclosure for $150.
-
I'm jelly!!!
-
Since you're giving up that much space for the enclosure why didn't you just go with a larger driver in a traditional ported box?
-
Same tactic as Apple and their Apple Maps I suppose.

Looks sweet. I wouldn't mind making one for myself or as a gift but I'd have to work on my carpentry skills a bit.
