    The APP thread

I wonder if wells fargo will have an app like that chase one? Or better yet, one that lets me take pictures of money I've pretty much added the norm to my droid: pandora, facebook, skype, google goggles, scientific calc. Added photoshop express and wm ftp client today. I'll have to try these out and post back if there any good.

    Shopping at American Eagle...

    Most definitely.
  5. Only thing I know is the smaller pulley spins the alt at a faster rpm so it makes more power.

    Enclosure For 12in DCON

Crossing the dcon over at 100-120hz is pretty high, are you planning on adding some midbass drivers?
  7. Sounds like the voltage regulator is bad. It shouldn't spike up to 16v.

    Kevin S

Just for the record, A few weeks ago I was shopping around for some drivers, was pretty ready to buy some brand new sa15s off 1800woofers, it had just opened and had a nice little discount, but after reading some of his background history on other forums and his current business practices I decided to buy some used drivers instead. Glad I did... Couple users mentioned his age, personally I just don't give a shit, it all comes down to good business practice, ethics, and being reasonable, so far I've seen none. I hope the best for the OP AND Kevin, <- get your shit together man.
  10. What about a Double cab tundra? I have seen a box for 2 JL 8W7's ported made for a tundra, but I have never and will never run anything JL. no clue i dont own a tundra What about an F150, or a ram?
  11. What about a Double cab tundra? I have seen a box for 2 JL 8W7's ported made for a tundra, but I have never and will never run anything JL. What's wrong with JL? Too rich for your blood? Or you believe because it's mainstream & expensive that it MUST be bad?
  12. Looking good, I like the bracing idea. may do something similar for the volvo, just not quite as extreme

    double/triple layering

Well i thought i knew what i was doing at the time. My box actually has a pretty good foundation though Yeah i know but i was GUARANTEED that the plywood, if braced right, wouldn't move an inch. Evmeden though i tried explaining to him that he doesn't quite understand that my subs were being underpowered and the box will flex. But he wouldn't listen so i kinda wanted to do it his way so he could see that he was wrong. But now i realize that now i just will have a shitty box. EDIT: We still did plan though, just not correctly. Just half an inch Hey man there's a first time for everything I'm not ragging on ya. Hopefully you can get everything in order and make it work. Lol yeah for sure bro. Yeah i understand, i just feel super bummed that i did this wrong. I wanted to do it right the first time and i thought i was going to but now i see that i messed up kinda big time. Dang man. Just super bummed. EDIT: Do you think that i should use fiberglass with the inside layer of MDF or just use MDF and bracing? Personally I wouldn't bother with the fiberglass, If I was mad competing and looking for an extra tenth then perhaps

    Box?

    Agreed.
  15. stock alts should charge at 14.4v, after the years of driving, wear and tear, they often drop to the 13s. A lot of people upgrade to high output alts, and some of the h/o alt manufacturers raise the voltage a little, (15.5v is about the most you can go on a 12v battery 14v charging setup) For instance, my stock alt with 80k miles will charge at 14.9v when its cold with no music on, when it's hot outside it drops to 13s. My dc alt would charge around 15-15.5v all the time with no music, or at full tilt with a saz1500d around 14.5-14.8v
  16. I am not using one of these at the moment but you answered your own question. Don't forget to adjust it once it is installed. x2, not sure why they need to be calibrated, seems pretty ironic, but use a dmm next to it and match the voltages.

    Welcome to the IHoP

There is two versions of the Ipad, one with 3g and one without. Both can do wifi, but the 3g model has the ability to get internet as long as you sign up for a plan. Cost depends on plan, $15-25 per month IRC. The sucky thing with the plan is it's not unlimited, where as the phone I just bought, the plan is almost the same price for the ipad but its unlimited bandwidth.
  18. You can wire it to anything you want, personally, I wire mine at the amp so I know what voltage the amp is seeing. Mount your voltmeter in your dash or where ever, run your 3 wires (power, ground, remote turn on) all the way to the amp. You can simply stuff each wire into the corresponding terminal on the amp.

    Shop Owners/Employees, what's up?!

I'm shocked! You should open a car audio shop and compete against them. Lol he has a major Polk boner (not that it's a bad brand or anything, if you like Polk, more power to ya) and he wants me to come back and demo the HAT Clarus set but...their sound room was...raggedy n a sumbitch (if you saw it you'd know that's the perfect description, trust me). The light was hanging from the ceiling and there were more holes in the mdf than there were speakers. Maybe they were fixing it up but damn, close the door next time. Sad to hear.

How big are the batts in those? wonder if a small xs batt would make it noticeably lighter?weight is not an issue with a 600 lb machine with a 660cc motor. The thing is like a bullet, and easily does 75 mph. Ah fuck that, shits too heavy. Guess I shoulda figured it out from the name GRIZZLY lol. Do a fiberglass dash with an Ipad w/ 3g. Don't temp me. LOL Or just be lazy and do what I did: although I need a new hu so it supports the ipod cable instead of aux, fuck up on my part.

    eDead v3 Gallon - Black

I would order a bunch of cld tiles from Don at SDS. They'll add "some" rigidity to the doors, but primarily keep the sheet metal from rattling like crazy. You could then put a layer of MLV, just place a roll over the door panel and cut to shape, that'll deaden everything. Lastly a layer of ccf will keep the door panel plastic from rattling against the sheet metal (decoupler). All this can be bought here: http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi Don is a great guy, knows what he's doing, super helpful.
