If they block proxies than you may be able to use a vpn, web proxy like hidemyass.com, or an SSH tunnel. I should also add VPN or SSH would completely hide your traffic from the company which may or may not be good if they found out you were using it.

Steady hands bro! It's from all the butterfly catching he does.

What you described sounds good for strength and aerobic work, but maybe not the most optimal if your main goal is losing weight. If you lose weight with it and happy with the progress then I would stick with it, however; if it isn't working or the progress is slow than I would either switch or add workouts with lower intensity for longer amounts of time. IMO one of the best ways to lose weight is hiking. It's high enough intensity that you're using a good bit of energy, but low enough that a good portion of the energy comes from fat.

I have to say I hated it at first. Things were just a pain in the ass, but once I got use to it it's pretty nice.

So the issue is he randomly downloads shit that fucks up the computer? If so I don't see how getting another computer is going to change anything? What does he use the computer for? Is it possible to use a Linux distro? If so it'll be pretty hard to mess anything up. If he's use to something simple and visualizing like windows 8 then Ubuntu with Unity would be an option, otherwise Ubuntu or Debian with gnome would be a solid choice.

And you thought you've seen it all.

Rent an apartment, not a hotel. $275/night is expected in Paris. Makes a week tough. How can I rent an apartment? http://paris.fr.craigslist.fr/apa/ http://www.housetrip.com/en/paris?cr=b&switch_currency=USD&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=apartment%20rent%20paris&creative=42785700897&netw=g&utm_source=google&test=control&test=phase1a&gclid=CjgKEAjwtZucBRD77aiiq_v4xnASJABkAg8Jm_1s_yYzH8ZBhopzVidDLLxIJwmQ8ZflOTFwlE_V9vD_BwE

I was wondering what you meant by glycogen stores vs sugar considering glycogen is just a polymer of glucose. I'm guessing you just had a brain fart and meant fat vs sugar? Good info though.

Can you clarify that statement?

This is going to be a fun one.

Verizon is a good bet reception/service wise--though I'm sure their plans aren't the cheapest.

You need to prioritize your goals like Impious stated, in audio terms akin to Hofman's Iron Law. Supplements don't play a large role in the big picture. Some may help you get motivated/pumped to work out which is good rather than not working out. Creatine might provide you with a little extra energy for that last rep here and there. Branched-chain amino acids are good for providing nutrients quickly for building muscle and if you consider protein a supplement then it's good if your diet is lacking, but even the listed (protein intake aside whether it be from food or powder) aren't going to dramatically increase muscle growth or fat loss like a magical pill. If I wanted to lose fat I would focus more on aerobic exercises than anaerobic (I'd still do strength training as maintenance but not primary) and I wouldn't be eating or taking anything beforehand. Afterwards I'd stick to a fat and protein meal, later in the day I'd eat some carbs with a low glycemic index. The reasoning behind my suggestion is that the metabolic pathway that uses fat as energy requires more oxygen than does the pathway that uses carbs. In essence at high heart rate / anaerobic you're mainly using carbs->glucose/glycogen for energy, as you reduce heart rate and lean more towards aerobic exercise then you can use more fat for energy rather than sole dependence upon carbs. Another reason why I suggested not eating before the workout and not eating carbs directly after is insulin levels. When you eat carbs and protein (to a lesser extent) it increases your insulin levels. Insulin levels and the rate of which fat can be used for energy are logarithmically proportional, so a small increase in insulin will substantially reduce the rate of "fat burning." I'm oversimplifying the metabolic processes of the body very largely for what it's worth, but I hope it provides some insight as to the how or why, and like politics everyone has an opinion on nutrition whether they're right or wrong--including me. Good luck.

Gotta start from scratch--nothing pathetic about it, it is humbling though.

Just ask. If he says no, then say Hey, you pay the $120 and we'll give you $120 BUT give us $120 in bar credit for after our first game. He'll definitely say yes to that. I don't get it. Thats just us paying for it and him giving us bar credit. We don't have to have a real sponsor, we just don't want to fork over $120 on top of $20 per player. Obviously he can't say no. Only difference is you aren't paying a fee, but paying for something you'd drink anyways. I'd personally rather have $120 in free drinks than not.Wasn't saying as a first approach, but a second. First ask for them to just sponsor. Wtf did I just read.

So my friends and I... *pause* have a softball team... and we were wondering if you wanted to like sponsor us and shit? Just ask him what he thinks about sponsoring a softball team and getting jerseys made with their bar logo. You would be cheap advertising for them so it's not a one sided deal or anything.
