I have the overall diameter, cutout diameter, and overall depth of the drivers. I also have drivers with the same cutout but bigger depth, so I can use them. Thanks man, my first runs turned out okay, but after doing it a few times I'm starting to get the hang of it.

No pressure at all

Here I mention hot glue for the dowels and don't even think about using it for the cloth... Thanks ^this and spray adhesive like used for attaching carpet to an enclosure ( is that CA glue) I got a bunch of foam and fabric spray adhesive for the vinyl, I'll try that too Between the 2 you should be ready to go! Yep! Just gotta make some speaker rings, get a hot glue gun, and order some speakers <-- dreading the speaker part, broke... hehe

Love the plexi and bottom enclosure for amps and bars, kinda a shame there's a seat hiding it 99% of the time.

Call DC Power and ask them. Seriously...
-
I heard it too, but I don't remember where lol.

Not too sure what you mean by DC X's 4 DC Audio makes XL's??? No doubt man. I am posting lots-o-pics and vids of this. I want DC Power to get the exposure they deserve. LOL. I heard that DC Power is discontinuing the XP line. I am glad I have one! The original alternator I was sent was a 180 HP. I did not fit. I sent the alt back to DC Power and Robbie upgraded me to an XP but I would have to wait for it to be made. Things went sour (I could have handled things differently on my part, I am not perfect) in the meantime and I canceled my order. Robbie sent me the XP anyways which I am very thankful. Pretty colors? LOL Yeah man it is a beauty. Hopefully Kyle or Robbie will tell me exactly what the output of this bad boy is. Just guessing, I could be full of shit so don't hold it against me At least 130idle, 200max.

Box 100 plus two 15 aq subs. make a box for one driver and test firing position and port position?
-
I'd go subs up, port back. Or do some testing to find out what works best in your vehicle, then make your final 200lb box.

Sweet Sure are beefy little fuckers! Once it's installed, post your voltage at full tilt with car running

Yeah it was my first glassing experience and it turned out pretty well. I'm too lazy to do tons of body filler and sanding though lol, I was too excited to get them in. I need to re-wrap them some time, but they sound so good I'm not sure if I want to touch them. Are you going to have more than that one set of speakers? You might want to look into higher power handling or sensitivity speakers because even the AA's don't keep up with my 12"s on some songs lol. I love the way they sound though, it just worked out so well in my car. Not going to add horns or super tweeters either, don't need to go deaf Most of the time I'll be listening at mid volume where mids should be okay, and full output for demos and what not. Yeah it's my first time too, Be easy on me baby! Well I OG planned on 6 1/2s, made pods, then saw they hit the dash when door closed... so I took them out and threw'm away. Then I thought about 3 4" mids. Now I'm back to 6" or 6 1/2" and just space it out a little. So I'm still not really sure what I'll end up doing. My goal is to have some nice midbass at fairly loud volume, I'm not planning on or expecting midbass to keep up with xcons. Just going to be a well rounded system at lower to mid volumes, but turned all the way up, it'll just be bass drowning everything else out. Yeah that's pretty much what I was going for as well. I can tell you that the AA's are great for midbass, it sounds like I have a sub in my car with my subs off . I'm tuned in to your build, it'll be well worth the wait. I thought about the AA mids but I'm not ready to shell out the cash to go active and get a cross over and etc. I'm going for a comp set around $200-250 and a basic 2channel amp.
-
The RF amp is very nice, If I could afford it, I'd get it. But it also depends on your enclosure, if your tuning is a little above the fixed filter on the RF (28hz) then your fine, if not then you may have to add an inline ssf.

Thanks! I'm happy it was enjoyable, I was afraid I did a horrible job on it lol. If you haven't found it in my build log yet, it starts here http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/39469-ulrisas-volvo-s40-build/page__st__30. Apparently the link in my sig. isn't right so thanks for making me look! lol. Yeah I just did a search under build logs with your username, I never thought about doing the pod like how you did, hmm I'm redoing mine, currently glassing bottom, then going to hot glue wood dowels to baffle, then wrap and glass. Still deciding what to put though, these look nice: https://www.madisound.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=45_245_318&products_id=8472

Windshield flexes a lot, hell everything does, kinda has me wondering what mines gonna do *Looks for build log on fitting carbons in doors* Oh and I watched all 4 minutes and 2 seconds, unlike most vids.

Hmm Your s40 and my v40 have the same engine etc. I talked to dc and they said they currently didn't have any alts for our vehicle. But that they could make one in at least 6 months. So did dc say they had an alt or could make it? -
May just use a razor and cut around the aero, never messed with carpeting

I was hoping to see or hear about the progress of my enclosure by now. Oh well all I can do is wait. We got Andrew double-teamed. -
That's how you can afford all your stereo stuff
