Andrew, I would like to know when my enclosure will be shipping. I also sent you a pm regarding some speaker rings, if this is something you can whip out and ship same day with enclosure, please do so and add to the bill, if not don't worry about it. I'm ready to pay you the remaining balance and get this finished up, this has gone on waaay too long. Please reply or pm. Thank you. -
Perhaps you should enlarge the enclosure, cut the roof, have some wood panels go up a few feet, should gain some extra cubes. I don't know, just a thought.

We all have our problems... Pulled over, jazz is playing, officer is confused, "hmm, must have pulled over the wrong car" scratches head walks away.

Time to change artists, something more in your face. Who were you listening to? I was on the charles mungus channel. Ha, obviously their collection of Mingus is different than mine That's not the reason you fall asleep while driving?

Ah, yeah those things aren't very accurate, or at least the level they consider clipping is so mi nute & inaudible that it should be acceptable...

Yeah its annoying lol XD I guess I asked for it tho. lol Yeah, nature of the beast, at least it's a good thing LOL its a very good thing Hopefully your center console housing will stop it from shutting off. I know there's these bolts that have rubber in the center, so what ever you screw it down to, the vibration is some what isolated. May help... I'll have to look on Mccar master or something to find'm Or you could take out a few drivers and ship'm my way, whichever way works best for you.

Amp is so clean, what's it mean when the lcd needle was reaching the right and the color was turning orange? Those little 3 incher ports are starving the xcons

That's normal.

Welcome to the forum! Maybe the img tag got screwy when typed manually, although thats how i do it too... Ported def. yields more output, but I also like the sound of sealed enclosures too, sounds tighter.

In the mean time, lets get some of these printed and made as stickers for xcons and zcons. SO SICK! -

Yes the cone. I'm building a show car ( I know budget shouldn't be a question when doing so but the line of work I'm in gives me access to some awesome sponsorships and parts at wholesale pricing. Wish I could get an audio sponsorship but haven't had luck so far) So you would rather have a show car that looks cool but doesn't sound all that impressive? There are plenty of well performing, good looking drivers... I don't see the reason to get all specific about the color of the cone... -

Believe it or not, the flames actually ad dBs. Somehow how they are positioned, helps displace more air, thus more output. -
That's just ridiculous, so loud that the hu shuts off... Tuned in to see how the center console comes out. and videos...

Let me know what comes of it. -

Let me start by showing what I've done and what I'm trying to finish with... I'm planning on hot gluing wooden dowels to the fiberglass panel up to a wood speaker ring. Then wrap a big piece of cloth around the speaker ring to the back of the fiberglass panel, then stable the cloth around the ring, and glass the cloth, etc. Only problem I'm running into is, when I wrap the cloth around the ring and fiberglass, how do I staple down the cloth, since there won't be any wood to staple into on the back of the fiberglass panel. Could I glue small strips of cardboard to the back of the fiberglass and staple into that? Sorry if I'm confusing.

Cinema 4D and Photoshop.
-
Yeah I soaked the cloth in resin, then cut strips of fiberglass mat and placed them everywhere, then dabbed them with a brush til they soaked the resin, then waited about 15 minutes and did another layer of mat and resin. I figured it would be easier to sand down in the end, guess not. Yours looks so much smoother. Is cab-o-sil better then bondo, or depends on application? Your craftsmanship is awesome.

I think I get it, the wire is just woven like stitching it together, so it's pulling. Hot gluing / CA glue sounds easy enough Everytime I go again, it comes out a little better, and easier. Worst part was being hunched over for hours sanding everything. Yesterday I laid back in a camping chair with my legs up on a bench, and used a box on my chest to catch all the sanded shit, next morning my back didn't ache like a bitch, and I'm only 18

I've just read TONs of threads about people saying their EA alt has terrible voltage and amperage at idle, worse then stock.
