Does the above work for you Rob?

how much will shippping be? Rough quote is $50. UPS has had rate increases every week for the last month due to the hike in fuel prices so it's hard to say how long that $50 estimate will be good for. Andrew Andrew and I were checking the UPS site for shipping pricing on my enclosure, got one price one minute, and another five minutes later.

Is the A-pillar plastic or cloth? Mid too big to fit on the pillar?

I found out that a lot of the volvos use the same auxiliary bracket for alternator. There's a a diagram and list of volvo models and years here: http://www.volvopartswebstore.com/products/Volvo/S4019l-4-cylinder-Turbo/Bracket/1194921/9497106.html These are from s40s. Everything is the same on s40 and v40 except body

Enclousre Build for stefanhinote (Two 15 Inch SSA Xcons)
ssh replied to Argent Audio's topic in Argent Audio
34" width 24.25" height 26" depth If I remember correctly. 8cubes and 35.5hz tuning Why so high stef? Or maybe better put, why 35hz??? It made it easier to fit the ports in, and 35hz tuning isn't really that high. Am I really going to be able to notice a dramatic difference between 33hz and 35hz tuning? The box is going to be loud enough as is, I don't think I'll be losing much on the bottom end -
Agreed. But whatever floats his boat

I'll see if I can pull the alt out this weekend and take pictures. I'm also going to search for any pictures from people swapping out their alts in the s40s (same engine, alt, and so forth.) Found these pictures of alts that fit. rebuilt oem bosch W0133-1828462 Beck Arnley 186-0981 If it helps any

Your right, the receipt said 230 but Kyle said he changed it to 270 cause the wait. I already have the 270xp boxed up, I'll ship it out tomorrow afternoon or monday. I'll try and get some pictures under the hood, and find some pictures of the stock alt. Thanks, Stefan

Thanks!! I think in one of my posts I said it was a steel bracket, if not it's in here now. It is very strong and think it will support the HU well, just have to be very precise on the cuts to make the face of the dash match up with the relocation of the HU and a/c control. Steel > plastic.

Thanks bro yeah cleaning is a bish because i have a white car and it seems like after i drive it once i want to wash it again I'm very bad at cleaning my car. I've owned it for a few months now, I've washed it once (exterior wise)

Yeah, I love the flush mount how it curves in the center, makes it easy to grab the drivers too. And the Aeros May even gain some on the TL with'm.

eh I like it, adds some darkness

When I mentioned you not really seeing 1500watts, I simply said this because you aren't going to be playing tones, music is dynamic with peaks. And then there's impedance rise... Not sure how much smaller your box will be for the sa15, guess your car would be 40-50lbs lighter

Nice shot

Hmmm what can i put in there!!!! Use the calc and figure out how much smaller the box would need to be to be at the tuning you want. then make a small wood box from scrap wood to that volume? Maybe fit a basketball? lol. Might cause weird unloading though.
