Yeah I keep forgetting I love how they sound, loud for sure, afraid to say I'm starting to get use to it, which makes me want to cry. But I still need to do some tuning and and better electrical, so I know it still has some potential

heh thanks. I tried doing a hair trick today but it was too windy so you couldn't tell what was bass and what was wind. But her hair didn't fly up like crazy either

I got the car for $4900 (86k miles). Timing belt was just changed, checking dealership record to see if the tensioner was also changed. New air filter, ordered iridium spark plugs, and a few other maintenance stuff. Cleaned the maf sensors and throttle body this afternoon, everything has been in good shape. Contemplating whether or not to switch to a 3" downpipe for the turbo, supposedly it lessens the turbo lag and adds a tad more power... great deal there Thanks. Got another video uploading

It's not going to be alot... This is just a guess, but your height is ~24" and you have 5 of the braces. Lets say there 3" in width and 1" thick after being placed in corners. 1x3x24=72in^3 *(5braces) = 360in^3 = 0.2ft^3 or 0.2cubes

That why when people say it's loud, or crazy flex, I say, these are sq drivers, I don't know what your talking about
-
Glad to hear, but not planning on crashing it anytime soon lol
-
Thanks, didn't even notice been so busy with everything else

Yes, that helps. So it will still play frequencies lower than the tuning frequency of the box, but it won't be as loud as the frequency that the box is tuned to, correct? Yes and the frequencies will (i should say, should) be attenuated by subsonic filter to keep the driver within it's mechanical limits. Which is 2-3Hz below box tuning, correct? So if my box is tuned to 35Hz, the SF should be right at 32? Yep.

Yeah it's all personal taste and depends on front stage, but mine is set around 55

80hz to 90hz is rather high. I'd let the midbass speakers pickup from there.

That's so shitty. I'm always worried my stuffs going to get stolen now, especially since I put a TeamSSA sticker on the car, hope no one figures it out? Would it be worth it to pay your deductible and have insurance cover it? -
Thanks, and yeah it looks like the hatch would hit the box and amp when closing, but because it curves, you close it and theres still a few inches between everything Not on full power yet, I have to say that the xs d1200 is a rocking little battery though! hehe, some people are against mounting amps on boxes, others don't have any problems with it. Here I didn't really have much of a choice, no more room And the aeros are HUGE, I'd be tempted to try ripping paper and stuff near the port, but I don't want anything sucked in

Love the dustcaps on the sa12s, and super stiff suspension Audibel custom box is sick

Agreed. Normally I put it in a vice bend it down, then heat up with propane torch, then let solder melt and fill open spaces. Hydraulic crimper looks so easy and sure fire. Damn even the crimper needed some modifying Everything's look great

Hey I got one of those blankets too Cute little guy, glad everything went well
