Looks great, really fits the door well

Yikes, what is your impedence at 40hz? Almost 4ohms, impedance is highest at peak. My vehicle peaks around 39-40hz so thats also why it's higher.

on lower power, but wouldn't that become nonexistent after the increase in power being sent to it? (assuming you're putting a larger amount than what the 3" is rated at) Perhaps if you thought about it as a cpu, you can overclock it so it's faster but it'll also be hotter, but if you can keep it cool enough then it'll handle being overclocked.

Well they ate that shit up like it was breakfast. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/109050-do-work/ Found the shittiest picture of a old pick up that I could find. Even has flat tires. I suggest mixing drivers for different bass frequencies, they suggest using separate boxes but no one mentions that the idea of using the 12s for low lows and 10s for the higher region as a bad idea. No one questions a box with 45" depth. No advice was given about electrical. But DC SUBS FOR THE WIN, ALL THAT MATTERS

Coming out great. I need to start buying some wood working tools

Saw that the thread was starting to go downhill... I can giv halp? Thanks man, I appreciate it. I would have asked for help here on ssa, but no one here does really big builds. Know what I mean? Yeah bro I feel ya. Some people are just flat out better at building shit than others. SMD is the place to go for big builds like that. Yeah thanks

I urge everyone to please follow my thread on smd: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/109050-do-work/ You don't need to be registered to view, so please just take a look, kick back, and see what happens...

Well dont you need 7zip to uncompress rar files? Which is the typical format for what im assuming you use Or winrar. But I already use the apps for work. Both are simple and free. I use to buy everything through Itunes, but after having to reformat my computer too many times, Apple decided I needed to buy all my music back again... -

This is illegal, Reported! Just screwing with ya, I don't know the rules. But I don't use any P2P software, actually don't use any software except a browser. -

Nice to see your build finally posted here -
It should be, and by audible, well it's more of being felt that I care about. But those numbers were with the hu at volume 20. At volume 18 I got a little under 1267watts and though it may not have been that big of a difference by ear, it was certainly felt. And again these numbers may be off a little since I don't know how accurate my dmm and clamp meter are. But it does give me faith that the amp still has a fair amount more power before clipping And yes I understand that statement suggests the between volume 18 and volume 20 there is only a 46watt difference. Maybe my meters are fucked up or something Idk. All I know is you can feel the difference and those are the numbers I got from the dmm and clamp. Hope I can break 150 with alt!

Try some BTL n2s or something. I know you'll have a reason for the DCs and not btls... -
Another update: I've read and seen a bunch of different views on measuring an amplifiers voltage and amperage using dmms and clamps to find wattage. I've read people argue that it's not accurate, or real world, or that you won't see that much power on music, etc. So take the following for what ever it's worth. I just wanted a rough estimate to see how much power at MAXIMUM the xcons could possibly be receiving. So I of course played a constant 40hz tone, (obviously music is going to be varying 24/7 unlike a tone, but this will show me the AT MOST possibility). I got 71v & 18.5a = 1313w before vehicle voltage started approaching 11.9v So I guess it's safe to assume that once I have a proper electrical system, that the xcons should get a fair amount louder on the saz3000d.

Good thing I still have Kens meter coming

The specialist got back. They said its an audiocontrol and its 75per hour. Fuck that
