Gonna have to give a review of the RA, before and after? -
This may help: http://www.dimensionsguide.com/pipe-dimensions/ And black sewer pipe is "ABS".

Turn your ssf up to around 30hz, turn your lpf down to 60-80hz. Lower your gain so your voltage stays in the 13v range at full tilt.

Damn that's sweet, love sleepers. Impressive times, glad you had videos

So go back inside and drink more corona?

From the title I assume he is walling it Yeah pretty much, I get carried away looking at pictures and not reading text. Although it's pretty much walled off
-
With your enclosure, you mine as well wall it You could make a huge trim piece for it and seal everything behind it My friend rode his skateboard down the street and was like "shit...".
-
That's impressive, this was mine: and there was no way I was able to lift it and set it in the rear, had to call a buddy over.

My exact thoughts Just nuts man, can't wait to see a video in a couple days.

Yeah lol, but OP, just use shoe goo or amazing glue/goop. I believe it works best to apply several thin layers, waiting a few minutes between each layer. If you put too much then the area will get rockhard and apply stress to the surrounding foam and likely crack/cut over time. So the key is just to put enough to seal it and hold together but not too much where it clumps and gets hard. -
I plan on putting it in tonight...might get a vid

Enclosure looks great, nice and stout. Can't imagine installing it though. Perhaps you could make a video for us to watch

You didn't read it , i said CAN. never said he had to try it.(and not at 25hz) (deleted it, he probably hasn't read it yet.) You also said it could have torn from clipping, and that just isn't so. It wasn't heat either. Those were the only two options you said it CAN be, you are wrong in both cases. My original thoughts was, Damn clipping directly causes mechanical problems? I guess that's what being on SMD does for you. You'll learn clipping is the worst possible thing for a driver in every possible way and need to buy a DD1 right away. Heck now you need a tool to properly set your crossover precisely, because being a few frequencies off on a sub(or any) setup will make a difference. That, or if it's not DC Audio then your just not loud. Oh and they give great legal advice. -
This is the classifieds feedback section, and this is its purpose. I like to know about things like this before doing business online. Owners1 Gl getting this straightened out. Agreed.

Powering a SAZ3500D
ssh replied to chrishova's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Id get a dc or mechman and a few batts and you should be good. I wouldn't get anything from Excessive amperage, I've read a lot of horror stories about their alternators. My dc power alt has been great. -
If you have the room and volume I'd go with cone area over power. Your not the only one whose thought about going with a whole bunch of cone area and lesser power

this had bad idea written all over it.

I've had two remotes, one led worked, other went out. Personally I liked the one with the burnt out led, otherwise your blinded by the light when driving at night

Haven't been keeping track of any build logs for a while, looks like someone went to work Interior looks very nice, I probably should have done the same when I pulled my head liner out, but it was such a hassle I just stuck it back in (along with breaking every other plastic tab...), so I thoroughly appreciate all the work that went in.

I know when I did mine I had lamps setup but they were about a 18" away, I'd put my hand out in front and have it feel a little warmer then sunlight from outside. Too much heat and it might crack, or more likely it'll flex when it dries and no longer curve to fit the door. All I can think of that might help -

Ok, two questions about batteries and alts...

Great info! But other than that I guess theres no difference? And thanks for the info, Im not sure how you found that but I appreciate it! Yes the batteries are basically the same. So even if you got the s version and plan to use them in the back of your vehicle, you'd just use battery post type terminals instead of ring terminals. Although for that scenario it would have made better sense to get the D version, but no worries. I found the info by going to the xs power section right here on ssa: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/forum/81-xs-power/ The third pinned topic titled "Whats the difference in the S version and D version?", -
