Loving all the pictures, I like the soundbar although not sure how well itd sound right behind your head. Love the look of the FIs and big dustcap. Wish I could hear another Volvo wagon

He hasn't mentioned anything about tweaking crossovers in both cases though. See now? hmmm, either way I don't know

Higher voltage/lower impedance?
ssh replied to Wood.'s topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
My dc alt (for 12v battery, 14v charge) would sit in low 15v range at idle in 100degree weather If you do two alts, use one for stock electrical, and other for 14v batteries and 16v charge for amps. And make sure the amps your looking at can handle 16v, some have protection circuits for higher voltages. -

ssh replied to Wood.'s topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Unless your competing seriously don't bother with 16v. Just my opinion, wont gain enough power difference for it to be audible, don't want to mess with stepdowns, or one alt for stock electrical and other for stereo amps... -

ssh replied to altoncustomtech's topic in Build Logs
That's awesome. Everything came out super clean, this build is proof that you don't need to spend thousands and thousands to have a nice stereo in your car. -

If you don't make a hole at the end of the crack, it'll likely continue to spread... At least in my experience. Not sure about fixing the rest cosmetically, sheet metal is extremely thin and not sure how difficult welding and sanding down would be, possibly filling with the epoxy, sanding, and repainting area.

HA. i have alot more to lose now. not a chance (forgot i put that video on here) I hear ya.

Try not to have another police chase
-
Drill a hole at the end of the crack to stop it from spreading.

2000 for 2 SA-10's
ssh replied to zooyorkajd's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I want it so hard!!!! Using more power for more output is the least efficient way to go about it. -
If you can fit 4 12s, you could probably fit 2 15" dcons

I think the real question is, how much does it accelerate the bass? Rofl -

Use them for their speakers, for the model drivers their designed for, not for your alpines, kickers, focals, etc -
