Raised the crossover point, lowered the slope. Sounds much better.

I'll check out neon indian and those posted by Sean. UPS showed up at like 6. Starting wiring everything and within ten minutes it was dark. Finally finished everything up, setup my baseline crossover points, played it, wasn't impressed at all. One thing that sucks, you can't just go to a menu and adjust the xover points, you have to start all over... HPF: 60hz, 24db/slope mid crossed at 2500hz 24db/slope. It sounded like the tweeter almost wasn't even playing. At higher volume, there was a ripping sort of sound. HPF: 60hz, 24db/slope mid crossed at 2000hz 24db/slope. better HPF: 60hz, 24db/slope mid crossed at 1500hz 24db/slope. sounded more full, at higher volume it was still crisp, no "ripping" sound. HPF: 60hz, 24db/slope mid crossed at 1250hz 24db/slope. a tad better then before. Still have to adjust the channel gains. Going to play around more with the crossover points and slopes in the am, don't even want to touch the EQ until I'm satisfied with xovers. But as of now, It went from complete shit, 20 minutes later, way more midbass, big improvement on the higher spectrum vocals, etc. So yeah, now the fun begins as Sean put it.

That's awesome. Flex everywhere.

I refresh SSA so much, I'm surprised the IP board software doesn't see it as a DOS attack.

He just left my house an hour ago. I know they're quick, but it'll take him a little longer to get to you. FUCK YOU. At my old house they usually arrived around 4-5. Later if it was holidays. At my new house, they get here around 3.... until today. I hate working in the dark, on the bright side, maybe it'll be a tad cooler.

Lol, well I'm still looking for some reggae.

Give 'Bad Rabbits' a listen, more funk style though, I love 'em I haven't listened to them in a while, I remember I liked their song: sextape. One of my favorites as well, but that's a 'Deftones' cover to not the same sound as their own stuff I have the stick up kids album, but don't care much for it.

You could use the12volt, but how would you know you have enough port area? And how would you calculate port displacement for NET volume if the port length itself is dependent on the net volume? Just some food for thought. As Duran said, Winisd is free. Download, install. Look up T/S specs for your driver and plug it in. Read the article / how to / tutorial if you need help figuring it out. If you can't figure this out or don't want to spend the time to figure it out, contact someone that designs enclosures and pay them to do it. I've heard great reviews for Ram Designs. Either way, do it right, or don't do it at all.

I don't know the technical reasoning but I can just say: Have you ever been to a live a concert, or heard a band play on some stage? Did it sound killer? Now were they playing in front of you, or behind you?

Before considering a Mac, make sure all your software applications that you want to run, can run on osx. Or use bootcamp, dual boot, and install windows xp/7 on the mac as well. -
The Three Ms.... I like mustard and ketchup on my burger, mmm.

If you do decide to cut out part of the rear deck, you could have the port fire up instead of back. Then fire through the rear deck, just build a beauty panel to make it clean. You could use an aero port and it would be relatively easy, but that starts adding up if your on a budget.

I hate it when people get mad over people that get mad over the smallest things. JK.

Formatting may get ugly.

What's some good reggae? I need some new music...

Cross your fingers. Flood the IHOP with pics of the projects, just like me.

That's plenty of volume. Download Winisd if you don't have it, create a new driver profile, fill out all the T/S specs for your kickers. Make a new project, fill everything out, go to the ports tab, pick either square (slot port) and plug in some numbers for width and height, or use round for aero ports. The program will automatically calculate the port length required for the tuning you picked earlier. Also, you will be able to see the port/vent mach, try to have that number in green. The lower the number, the less port speed and turbulence you'll have, thus less port noise.

Either way, I'm not up for guessing games.

It might help if you include the drivers your using, the size as well.
