Tips & Tricks For Getting Mad Loud By: Stefan Hinote Always turn the gain all the way up to let your system wang. The following filters are for pussies: ssf, lpf. So if your not a pussy turn the lpf all the way up and ssf all the way down. Adjust any bass or subwoofer setting on HU to max. If your HU has a "loud" function, turn it on. If your enclosure is sealed, cut a big hole out to let the dbz escape. This one is very simple and often overlooked. When playing your system always have your windows rolled down, even if your in a neighborhood (You'll also get mad pussy this way). You'll get mad dbz right here, mad mad shit son. You can always find out how much an amplifier really makes by multiplying the fuse rating by 14.4v (This is a very good rule, a car audio secret if you will) Stay tuned for more tips and tricks. --------------- I should actually make something like the above, but written more legitimately with subtle hints of sarcasm for the readers with half a brain.

It's processing. Wait. If your talking about the turbo, I think it's a Holset HX35 (according to his past videos). no the motor it self. Thanks for the info though. Now you know how much I know about auto. Edit: perhaps I'm correct this time, dohc zc?!?!?!?!

Is this a true 2000 watt amp?
ssh replied to Iownyoujk's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
This one.. with the single 80A fuse recommendation? Its rated at 2000wrms PEAK. That 900wrms rating is most likely inflated too.. youll probably get around 800wrms if youre lucky I agree that the amp doesn't do anywhere near it's advertising. But how do you come to the conclusion that it does 800watts rms? Edit: I see how you calculated that. You did the amp fusing (80a) * 10 and got 800watts? Is this some trick you learned somewhere? -
If those are in fact sealed and or sealed, build a new box with a single chamber ported. You'll fall in love...or die from a heart attack.

Just to piss anyone off, I ride every Saturday and Sunday.

Are those sealed prefab enclosures?

OP, Khaotik enclosures were made by SSA / Andrew (Argent Audio), great quality. And that price is cheap!

That's my favorite part, should already be up making breakfast. Then he peels out, crosses the yellow line, blows through a stop sign...

I remember reading somewhere from Stumble Upon about carbon nano tubes and all the possibilities, cool to see that vid.

I laughed so hard I cried Surprised he didn't ask for a hit.

I would use a ported enclosure, assuming you have enough space in the trunk for appropriate enclosure volume. I think Audibel Customs (right here on the forum) has some "affordable enclosures", same quality as a custom enclosure but preset dimensions. So if you could fit one of his in your trunk then you'd save some money, otherwise you'll need a custom enclosure. Fi SSDs are nice. Relatively cheap (~$200). SSA dcons are a bit cheaper then the ssds, very nice drivers for the money, great bang for your buck. And plenty more drivers out there... Also, don't forget about buying RCA cable, power wire, ground wire, and ring terminals. That will set you back ~$40-80.

My cousin recently installed some entry level mtx 12s in my old enclosure, using a entry level mtx amp, all in his K5 Blazer. It gets very loud for the equipment being used, I have to say it's the box hehe. He's saving up for some xcons or zcons, can't imagine how that will be. Just thought I'd let everyone know. But really I was shocked at just how loud it was, sure his gain, ssf, and lpf were probably all way off LOL, but damn!

As you can see OP, your not going to get very much help if you don't put much effort into your question or goals. It's like saying "I need a car." What does "not a whole lot of trunk space" really entail? Post up some max dimensions (the max space your willing to give up). Budget? What type of music do you listen to? What have you heard in the past? What did you like, not like? etc. Are you able to build the enclosure yourself, or will you need to pay someone else to build it?

LOL.

Bastard, I can't see anything!

Someone from our last ride had a helmet cam, supposedly they caught a little part where I had a tank slapper (which I don't remember at all lol). I gotta get a link!

I'll haul ass in the woods, up hills, through whoops, across desert, but never is any big jumps, and I'm not one for making one. <-- I don't know even know what the fuck that's suppose to mean. Last video is nuts, BOOM, no tree anymore. Just like in that video, this large rock jumped out at me once, I high sided, jumped off, flew into a rather large barrel cactus. I was pretty lucky, only got a few stickers.

The music goes along perfectly.

Baby don't eat no alt. bahaha. -
Yeah I have tons of notes and examples so I can always look back when I forget shit from the weekend.

Snow hehe, that was last winter.

I initially read that as bang bitches and trees for hours. LOL. I love sliding into the corners, break traction, cross the bars, accelerate out.

Glad I grew out of that. My body pays for it now though. Im young, ill pay eventually, but until then...
