I have a 360 and never play the thing, just use it here and there for netflix, but your making it sound fun again.

Adrian, what speaker grills are these? ME WANT, ME NEED! That would epic awesome if I could find them for my tweets too.

Writing a paper on sopa and protect ip, ugh, perhaps I should have picked something else.

Your box is so awesome though, must go bigger then.

Efficiency increases and the need for more power decreases when using a large enclosure. Doesn't the frequency response flatten out as well?

Shhh baby cakes, go to sleep.

That's a big port!

Tuned in. I'd like to hear it once it's all complete. Also curious to hear the ms8 auto-tuning enabled and disabled in another setup.

anyone with experiance with crescendo bc5500 amps?
ssh replied to liljestrand's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Instead of selling your current batteries and buying a bunch more shit, get the amp, install it, start adjusting the gain, and see how much voltage drop your experiencing, then go from there. -

You don't specify wood thickness, but even with 1", I would still say Yes.

Once you find some magical speakers let me know, I'd like to try a pair.

I wish I could see his face when he reads that I know the alpine decks can use that smaller ktp-455 power pack that can fit behind the dash. Perhaps kenwood has something similar, or a new deck altogether. If power is limited, next thing is efficiency, larger drivers.

Because Sundown won't give you better deals on their products? noooo not at all .. that has nothing to do with it. what so ever. .... .funny thats the first thing you think tho. Well you didn't specify, I'm glad that isn't your reasoning however. I don't mean to sound like a hypocrite, I think it's awesome that SSA provides deals to their "team members" and now return customers, it's a sweet perk, but not the reason I use SSA products. and i was a cunt hair away from pullin the trigger to run SSA in 2011 too.. but last second things changed.... but now everyone is running the Zcons. would not matter but my closest friend steve mead is running them aswell.. it may be weird. i donno. Wondering if we should try to do a short run of the Punshier's again. But that is partial up to the build house and Dylan too. What's a Punshier? I believe it would be considered the PRE zcon, a bit heavier, guessing larger magnet and motor force.

You want to know what speakers to buy, but haven't listed a budget, speaker size limitations, mounting location, depth restrictions, or any personal taste on what you have heard in the past and liked/disliked. And you wonder why your not getting any responses? Picking speakers for a front stage is much more "what sounds good to you" then anything else. It's unfortunate that wall displays at stereo shops don't replicate the final outcome once in a vehicle, especially from one install to another. What have you heard in the past that you liked? What are the REs lacking? Look into cone materials, and textile tweeters verse aluminum tweeters. Are you looking for midbass? Whats the largest size speaker you can fit in your mounting location, depth?

Inside: Outside: As you can see from the inside picture, the sides have openings, and there is about a half inch gap between the heatsinks and the top panel. I'm considering a new enclosure that would sit over the top panel, it would likely cover up all the heatsinks. I know the sides being open will help, but since heat rises, and the enclosure would be directly above the heatsinks, think I'll run into any issues?
