    Welcome to the IHoP

I've pretty much stopped growing in height, so I can probably start working out more and not "grow out of it" so to speak, but then again fitness, workout, and supplements aren't my forte.

Think there would be an audible difference from your current amp? Just got a bunch of tunes, time for listening. Do I think that it would be audibly louder? Maybe. 300watts to 800watts is almost triple power. Do I think that It would audibly have less distorion and clipping. YES! I am pushing the current amp to its limits and would like to get back some headroom if nothing else. I can shut down my current amp in about 15 minutes at full tilt. Luckly I only have a 20 minute drive to work. I will link you a few more tunes here in a minute, for your midbass quest. I didn't know you were running out of headroom and introducing unwanted awesomeness into the signal. Should be a nice upgrade. Sweet. I've been listening to a bunch of Primus and Buckethead lately. It's funny how Buckethead varies in genre from one song or album to another. I did find a sweet track demoing: Steve Strauss / Mr. Bones. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xc61ITqWh9I

    Welcome to the IHoP

I weighed ~120 for a while, went on a trip, ate a bunch of food, came back and weighed ~135, then lost all the weight the following week. *Runs off to go weigh himself* Edit: 125lbs right now. On the night of thanksgiving I was also around 135.

    Entire Factory System Replacement (HELP!!)

Are you planning on using component sets (tweeter, mid, and passive crossover) or buying individual mids & tweeters? If your doing the latter, your going to need some active processing, whether it's from a headunit, processor, or on-board functions on amplifier. What's wrong with your current speakers, aside from having no bass? I agree with Tirefryr on leaving oem and using a processor.

New enclosure looks sweet. I'm kind of surprised by how many people expecting you to have heat issues. After all, heat rises, and your heat sinks aren't covered.

You just wait. I'm gonnna make them fit. I just said winning because one member thinks he's right because he's read a few topics here and there about imaging, and then Impious goes in depth and shuts him down.

Single woofer to replace two SA12s

Once you take your Viagra? So you don't care about gaining any cargo space? The new enclosure can take up the same space if not more (likely larger if your looking for more output and using a larger driver) then your current enclosure? At this point people are going to need to know your max dimensions before they can really offer advice. I'm still baffled by your completely contradictory statements. Perhaps it's something you should sleep on? So going with a larger driver would definitely take up more the the SA12s? The SA12 box took up basically all the space in the back, meaning a larger driver wouldnt fit. How about one Z12? Enclosure volume is dependent on the driver and goals. More volume will increase the overall efficiency in terms of output, so larger box usually equates to more output. Contrary to popular belief: I cannot read minds or look deep into one's soul. Therefore I have no idea how large your current enclosure is, and if you can or cannot fit a larger driver with appropriate volume. One Z12 would be a downstep in output, you stated you wanted more output. At this point I don't think you really know what you want, so I'm going to go away now.

You initially stated that your current enclosure takes up too much space so you want to switch to a single driver setup. Now your saying you will use all the space in the back? I'm perplexed.

I'm guessing you don't want to lose output? What are your max dimensions that you are willing to use for an enclosure? example: fenderwell to fenderwell width is 45" and depth is 40", but your only willing to use 20" width and 30" depth or what ever. Were the SA-12s in a ported enclosure?

Fairly cheap too, http://www.europe-audio.com/Product.asp?Product_ID=3384 Correct model? I still haven't decided if I want to keep using kick panels (space issue for feet sort of), or cut the lower third of my door panels, and mount my drivers there. What type of tuning tracks are you looking for? Demo songs for instruments, vocals? Or tracks for testing imaging, tonal accuracy, etc? I have some focal JMlab tracks albums: demo disc 1 & 3, and tools cd. "IASCA - IASCA Setup & Test Disc 1997" "The Sheffield-Autosound2K Test Disc (CD 102 Imaging & Setup)" "IASCA official SQ cd 2001-2002"
