Wow! What kinda enclosure are they in! 151db on 600rms each is amazing! Seems like it should of did the 156 with rated rms (2250). Is that a wall setup or bandpass? Cant be a regular ol ported setup. Unless u really kno wtf ya doin. It's Steve Meade of course he knows....lol you fail.

Sounds hilarious.

Ampacity is independent of wire length. It's based on the cross-sectional area of the wire and the thermal capacity of the insulation. Wire gauge charts recommend larger gauge wire as the run gets longer due to voltage drop, not ampacity limits. Also ampacity decreases based on environmental conditions (i.e. areas with restricted airflow or multiple runs of wire grouped together) as the ability to dissipate heat decreases or heat buildup is increased. Most charts assume maximum heat dissipation conditions when rating ampacity. I knew there was voltage drop, but thought the issue was heat, even if the insulation was "super", still thought there would be some limit to the metal itself. No, the issue is voltage drop. Typically most charts used in automotive applications reference minimum wire gauge for a given length and current in relation to a maximum acceptable voltage drop of .5V, not a current or thermal limit. The limit of the metal itself is referred to as the fusing current. Generally speaking the insulation will begin to be compromised long before the melting point of the metal wire itself is reached. Thanks for the enlightenment. -
If I was to move the baffle higher up so that part of the bottom of the dash (near the white volvo sticker and hood release icon) was covering a third to quarter of the mid driver from driver seat point of view, would that present any drastic problems? I fucking hate using wood dowels and hot glue for mounting baffles, mainly because it's a pain in the ass to hold the mid in, make sure there is enough clearance, put a piece of dowel in, hot glue, and hold til harden, then move on to another dowel. This time I'm going to try plumbers tape, I should be able to re-position the baffle with a little bit of force, and hopefully won't budge with final positioning and wrapping the fabric tightly over.

Started new kicks today, wasn't really planning on doing it today, but hey.

I download "stuff" from servers in Germany and it's pretty fast, guess it just depends how much your downloading? (10gb>) I've had the most annoying virus on my computer for the last couple weeks, I think it's gone, and then it randomly starts back up every few days. I think I finally got rid of all it's files and registry values the other day though.

I hear you. But I'm cheap. Paid $110 with free shipping! The shell looks good; no major damage. Time to see if i can get new inserts/cushion thingys for it. Hopefully its never seen impact.

Wire a = 10v, 100a wire b = 100v, 10a ^Is wire a hotter then wire b, assuming lengths are the same? -
I didn't want to say her name.

Amperage capacity is also dependent on length. Shorter runs can handle more amperage, and vice versa. -

There isn't any downside in performance, or anything to worry about. -
That is probably my all time favorite.

Used helmet? No FUCKING way is my head getting treated that way. Kinda of what I was thinking, but I have sold my helmets to others in the past. I am sure my helmets are taken care of way better than others. Crash once, sell the next day.

I haven't, I've been leery buying one over the internet (ebay), and found a fair amount listed on CL that I could test out. But the thought of buying one from a mac forum is a lot more appealing to me then ebay, so I'll check that out as well, thanks. I would have a similar concern about buying on a forum, but if the person had good feedback I'd consider it. Apple sells refurbished Macs as well. I've heard of people buying used through Powermax too, but have no idea how legit they would be. Just some options. Checked out the apple store and powermax, CL seems to still be cheaper, hopefully I'll be able to test out the keyboard, trackpad, battery life, and be a happy camper. This seems to be perfect if all is well: http://tucson.craigslist.org/sys/2791920828.html The posting is down, but I remember the one you put up a few days ago. I haven't used those MB's, but I like my unibody MBP a lot I checked the Apple store and yeah, there's not much in the way of bargains. I know it updates regularly and I believe they come with a 1 year warranty. Something to think about if you care about that sort of thing. You seem to know computers though so if something did go wrong I'm guessing you'd be able to fix it. Ahh dammit that one sold! Oh well I don't get paid for another week or so any way. Yeah if something does break I can likely replace it. However I'd prefer not dealing with the headache. True They're in CL a ton though so no big deal. Resale is an upside to buying a Mac as well. If you don't like it you should be able to sell it for what you got into it for easily. Yeah I'm sure several more will pop up in the coming days, and a nice resale value is always nice.

What surprises me is the number of charges.

They vent poisonous gas when pressure builds up. Not saying 95Honda is more knowledgeable in this but his points are very good. Then it sounds like it's nothing to worry about.

Oh fuck. Get some Ozium and spray the inside.
