Realize this graph does not include cabin gain. In-car response will be completely different and that peak could very well move down one octave. Cabin gain completely slipped my thoughts! If the OP could use a spl meter, or even rta (low volume), then he could make a graph of his FR inside the car, then compare it to the winisd model, correct?

Is this from the "gain" or "spl" tab? From that chart your not getting any gain until 40hz+, and not any real noticeable difference until mid 50 range. Not sure where your crossover points are, but from the graph, it doesn't seem like it would be worth while to switch. At least in that alignment.

I've decided to try a 3-way and keep using the current tweets I have, so now I'm looking at midrange drivers instead of wideband / fullrange drivers. I'm going to try new kicks a shot, leg room should be fine, just have to get some better aiming. I found a pretty good deal on some bnib overpriced drivers that many would frown upon, but I've actually heard these drivers in the past and loved the sound. Of course 99% is install, but I'm going to try them out and if I'm not happy, I can sell them in a heartbeat. sell the HAT crap and buy a real driver

Awesome footage, nice music, nice editing. Hmm, I have the gopro 1080p, and it's okay for demo stuff on car, but my regular digital camera was better. Now for action stuff... Oh and get in the chat!

You should find out which one weighs more. I kid, I kid. You can use WinISD to model how each driver does in your enclosure. Pretty simple.

Try 4-5 inches, I know the distance will change the texture. Once the first coat is done, do a few more, otherwise if its too thin it'll be hard to remove in piece.

I would do the same thing. Brakes are far cheaper than transmission repairs. Me too. Although I wouldn't be touching the brakes to begin with unless there was lots of traffic or some reason to slow down.
