I may be helpless, but not that helpless. Multiple reboots. There is another problem though. I can't get Yahoo mail, Gmail, or my Exchange mail on my phone when connected to it either. I get a Proxy error. To be fair, the router it is plugged into (acting as a switch) has a direct connection to Germany and our HQ. If you turn on Automatic Proxy detection it will force all web pages into German. Hmm, I don't know.

Might try unplugging it for a minute.

Top ways to get a virus (in order): downloading and running some shit downloading and running some shit did I say downloading and running some shit zero-day exploit on Java, Adobe Reader, Flash, or browser. Eg three months ago there was a vulnerability found in windows 8.1 that led to privilege escalation. Google reported it to MS and gave them 90 days to patch it and release an update. MS did nothing, so Google released the exploit publicly, forcing MS to deal with it. Use a virtual machine for testing out cracked software so you can make sure it doesn't come with any viruses, and if it does than you know and it didn't fuck your shit up. Fuck IE, only use it if some bullshit software requires IE (though in that circumstance I would just spoof the IE user agent in Firefox or Chrome). So keep Java, Adobe, and browser updated and use a VM for testing possible sketch apps and you'll likely never have to deal with viruses.

<- Never used AV. Sorry. Only advice I have is that Norton is a pain in the ass for all the machines I've seen it on.

I don't believe that holds any merit in the situation of enclosures. If you read any book on loudspeaker enclosure design they will show that port speed is a function of: power, tuning frequency, area of port, Fs, Vas, Qes of the driver(s). There is no relationship to enclosure volume. If you had an enclosure that was 100ft long than perhaps you're right, but in the instance of normal enclosures no one relies on enclosure volume when calculating port speed.

Sweet. Does she know what she wants to study / general direction?

No disrespect brother...But I studied this field for years.. Then give arguments that are based on facts and can be checked. (maybe even provide a source while you're at it.) How are Octogonal ports ever going to give more port area that the same size circle, not to mention a square port. EDIT: yes, I actually made this in paint. That is a pic of surface comparison .. Volume I guess that would depend on the desired frequency as you have to figure in the Length of the port walls as well.Correct? I'm confused. You were just talking about port area and now you're talking about port volume. To the op, like 95Honda said there really isn't any benefit to using them over a standard port, but if you want it for the look that's another thing. If you're tight on port area / chasing every little bit of output for competing than look into flared aero ports like psp precision.

I'm starting to feel the same. Chicago traffic exhausts me. Stay in get drunk and cook homemade hot wings and stuffed jalapeno peppers!!! That is what I'm going to do and call a drunk freak to come over after 12:00 to stay the night!! What's the longest you've gone without drinking?

No. The work I'm looking at having done will run me $400-$600 for the tattoo. Or for the sub I'm looking at the fi ssd 18 or similar. Once shipping, brokerage, duties, taxes and exchange are factored in, it'll be $400. If I go the gun route, figure the gun, rings, scope, sling, some ammo (black powder, so primers, pellets, and bullets), cleaning supplies, hard case and locks it'll be $400-$500. I was making a joke out of your predicament.

Buy a kicker sub and get the $99 tat special

Got salt?

"It's called electrical tape because it conducts electricity." It must have been opposite day when he filmed this. Yeah it's a joke, check out his other videos.

You ride a quad with sport bikes? WTF. I assume he meant sport quads. Word. I've only ever heard of sport bikes referring to street bikes, eg R6.

I have ZERO interest in cloud storage. Fuck paying monthlies or getting tied into something that inhibits future selections. I do "cloud" my own stuff. Things I really don't want to lose get backed up to my parents house and vice versa.I would be using it primarily for music and pictures. While I only share pictures that are 'up to snuff' I still like to keep the shitty ines to learn from. J I have 75,000 pictures on my PC (avg about 20mb), 3,000 CD's that I've ripped. No way no how I am paying to store that somewhere nor require a connection that brutal to grab anything. Can't escape paying for storage, either you pay for it and own it or you rent it. That's a LOT of porn man.

Why are you not sold on SSD? Is it because of Sean's bad luck? In theory the 8GB should be plenty for a OS and a couple programs, but I can say I have no idea of the Read/Write speeds of the hybrid SSD. In terms of a HDD a 5400rpm is a bit slow, but pleyny usable. PS - Just checked my HDD (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148371) which ironically cost more for something that is half the drive (at best) as what you proposed and has worked just fine for me. Not just Sean's bad luck. I know of numerous premature failures. When you consider the ratio of SSDs to traditional platter HDDs out there, the percentage of failures is tremendous comparatively. I have far too much info on my drives that are terribly important to me to take that chance. Unfortunately the failed drive had a ton of info I cannot recover. Some of the information were case study information, captures, videos, and PP presentations that have cost me a lot of income... not only that, but the information lost are references I saved that I may never be able to recover. This drive is only the second failure I have ever had, and this one was from physical impact... not really a drive issue. I have no one to blame but myself for this loss. I also have some old externals that are 7 years old and still function. Time for more backups. Yes, please back up your information that is important (at the least). Setup a RAID of some sort. Or (if it doesn't include videos) setup up Dropbox/ Google Drive/ Box for cloud storage. (PS let me know if you do Dropbox because I am greedy and would love more free storage). Sorry you lost your data. Last time I completely organized all my music, I accidentally tripped over the external HDD is was stored on and lost it all. 3 years later I haven't attempted the task again. PS- I wish I could provide some anecdotal evidence about SSD life, but mine got stolen months after I bought it. How much space do you need? I have a basic hosting account at Host Gator that costs like 10 bucks a month and it's "unlimited." So far I have 36gb on it and they haven't complained. Also have a VPS from TMZ hosting for $15 a month and it's 100GB, 2TB bandwidth. On the VPS I have plex running so I can play my music (or movies though I don't watch much) on my phone or any computer anywhere I go. Course you can pretty much do anything on a VPS.

There's a good chance they can still get the data off.

<- Reinstalling my Linux OS after accidentally trashing everything. Never run root, but I like them privileges.

your buddies a moron that drink dipshit koolaid. Absolutely retarded way to "design" a box. Yeah 2:1 ratio only works for quick trips. 3:1 is for am/pm.
