I've accumulated various PDFs (electrical, engineering, fiberglass, acoustic, sound perception), audio related programs, and test tracks through out the last year. I've organized everything, and storing it online. If anyone is interested, PM me, and I'll provide access details.

What? Super Powers. -
Not sad at all, wasn't even fun to laugh at. Complete tool with TERRIBLE ideas. Stupid noobs had a hard time seeing beyond it as well. Talk about misplacing and misusing information. Instead of videos showing sheet metal flex from a car, he posted videos of his house falling apart. Need I say more?

lil wayne is gay. but the song peaks at 34hz when I slowed it down so it's the loudest in my car. Loudness dictating music preference.

A few years ago I bought some cheapo wire strippers from them, and I've used them quite a bit over the years and I'm thoroughly impressed for the price. Watch them be one dollar off from free shipping.

You don't need near the driver's rms power to "properly" power it. That being said, I wouldn't throw the OA-15 because of that. As far as the driver, can't help you there. Don't consider one's comparison fair, and certainly not a "fact." Looks don't mean much. You could download WinISD, and model all the drivers in various enclosure alignments, of course people will argue this is worthless since the frequency response changes from open space to a vehicle, but I believe it still gives a good baseline. Certainly better then taking one's word for it: "This subwoofer pounds the lows." The enclosure alignment and it's quality will play a huge factor. With that being said, you could put a zcon in a terrible enclosure, and it could sound like shit and be quiet. Therefore zcons sound like shit and aren't loud?

The issues stem comes from many sources. Some people could have only one, others (like me) have many. Off the top of my head I can think of three things. 1.) Slow connection2.) Old computer3.) Firefox/Java issues. Oracle is not pushing Java updates quickly enough to keep up with the Firefox rapid release schedule (new version every 6 weeks) and so users Firefox 5, 6, 7, or 8 usually have more Java related issues. Firefox versions 9 and up supposedly "fixed" this issue and for the most part I haven't had issues (running 10.0.1 currently). The fact of the matter is that Java is a bloated mess and for users with slow connections and/or older hardware browsing the forums is much faster with Java disabled. However, there is no way to disable Java on a site by site basis with Firefox; it's all or none. Using an extension like NoScript allows you to disable Java on a site by site basis which is preferred because countless web designers make sites that are completely dependent on Java; you can't even access the site without Java enabled. Again, apparently my sarcasm was not read. Oh goddammit.

Ihop loaded: BOOM! oh shit santorum. BOOM! BOOM!

Page load time is better with chrome, and making submitting posts seems to be a tad better.
-
Since I already tried switching input, I'll try switching out the rca outputs.

You just owned yourself.

I hadn't changed any browser settings or updates. Sometimes when I submit a post, it shows it in a second, other times it takes five seconds then shows, other times it just shows the animated loading icon. Page load is bit slower for me, but that may be fixed with some ff extensions. I'm not computer ignorant. I'm going to try chrome.

Some annoying ass sound has crept it's way into the right channel(s). Not sure if I didn't notice it earlier, or if it started in the past week. Only notice it in one driver, on right side. Swapped drivers, still there. Perhaps I can try grounding the rcas? It's not engine whine, you can hear it with the car off. Doesn't sound exactly like static, more like an incredibly low distorted signal thrown into the mix. Although it rises with volume, it's hard to hear at max volume. Tried skipping the headunit, and plugging ipod right into ms8, no change.

Gah, this board update.

Pages definitely take an extra few more seconds to load for me. The "post" sometimes takes five seconds before showing it did anything, or it just keep loading. =/

Does the site load slower for anyone?
