Need help on power

There's nothing wrong with adjusting the gain, seeing the voltage start to drop below your desired point, and back it off. Order batteries, and repeat the process. I assume the OP isn't stupid, and doesn't leave it at low voltage for any long period of time. -
That looks like an awesome commute.

I know this an SPL build, but I just wondered why you had one of the smaller mids up top, then another down below, and are those tweeters near the top mid? If so, why the different aiming.

Glassing on the door looks stellar, but may I ask what led you to the drivers' mounting locations?
-
We drove that in the diesel. I actually recorded this mofo in front of us swerving all over the place. Fucker was shaving, and fixing up his hair. We'd watch him swerve to the other lane, and scare the shit out of on-coming traffic. Sent the video in to a local police department, who knows if they did anything.

Look up dbdrag rulebook, and see what class(s) you fall into. We don't know your enclosure dimensions, window lines, amount of drivers, fuse ratings, etc.

I have to drive on a one lane road everyday to get anywhere. There's cops on it just about every single day, but they always stay at the same spots. LOL Pass car, pass car, pass car, speeeeed, pass car, speeeed, slow down cop area, speeed, pass car, speeed, slow down cop area. When I went to NM, we saw like two cops in the entire trip. Crossed back into AZ, five minutes, already saw a bunch. After driving around Sante Fe, I'd totally vote for a race car video game to have a track inspired by their streets.

Me too, but hadn't on that particular road. Really though, If I get busted, I'll be so fucked. Not worth it, but sometimes I'm just in a mood of not giving a fuck. ho hum

Meh, that isn't impressive either. What is impressive is HP per cubic inch that lasts for 50k miles or some long term period. Pretty easy to make absurd power, but to keep it running is another story. To each their own. Personally its the ability to devastate tires and leave a 'mushroom cloud' overhead, run great lap times, or handle curves designed for 35 at 60 like it was nothing. Those traits impress me. J Have you ever driven on rita road? south of I10, going to fairgrounds / drag strip? It's got some swooping turns. 'I've been down in before in the Integra I had back in 2008. Fun lil road right there. The bumps suck when you sit low though. Good point Sean. I guess I am more of an 'impulse' person. J Everyday on my way home I get to have some fun on there. Got the volvo up to 95 in one of big turns the other day. There's one cattle guard that'll eat up any car over 40ish. I was driving behind a bmw once, and apparently the owner didn't think much of it.

I'm going to buy them in a few weeks, and try them both out. Then I'll decide what to keep.

Buy the alt. See how bad the voltage drop is. Throw a battery in. See how bad the voltage drop is. Throw another battery in. etc. liljestrand pretty much told you exactly what you were asking for. -
Fit as large of a speaker as you can if your concerned about midbass. Measure the depth from the sheet metal to the glass window down. Cut sheet metal, and fit larger driver? Use mdf to space the speaker out if it doesn't clear the glass.

looks nice, let me know what you come up with in terms of grills for the w4's. i'd like to see someone try making one before i do haha. There actually hat l4s. They make grills to go along with them, so if I decide to use some I'll be lazy and just buy'm.

I don't think it does. The drifting looked cool, then I thought on a sled it would be like a hundred times more awesome then that.

Depends on the space between the enclosure and opening. Foam may not be needed, and a secure trim piece could suffice. On the flip side, the foam may be very helpful in filling up large voids. I've never messed with a trunk. Just thoughts, I thought of.
-
You could mask off the area, push the box into position (mask off the box too), and spray expanding foam. Pull box out, sand down the excess foam, put box back in, and make a trim panel to go around.

How do eggs compare to grill/oven? How much on average do they go for? I don't cook, but sounds like it may be a good gift for my mother.

Do SSA subs need to be "broken in" ?

Sony xav-70bt problem!! Help!!
ssh replied to Elrey7698's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Is there a setup menu that allows you turn on the "subwoofer?" -
I need to make a trim piece for my kick pods. Might do it with wood, but wondering if anyone has seen large rubber grommet / seals. Side view of what I'm thinking: It would drop right over the top cutout, and cover the "rim" Diameter would be around 120mm, but I'd buy several different sizes to be safe. Going to check mcmaster-carr.
