Bids total up to 400 dollars now. I will probly list more tomarrow as I am making them all end on the weekend and I have to list on certain days and durations to make it work. The bids total is up to $750 right now. Shit will really blow up at the last minute as thats how the snipers work. Interested in seeing the end bids.

I wondered about the longevity of the computet with having it on 24/7 verse turning off every night. I remember reading some article that basically said it was null.
-
I'm not the only one who leaves their computer on 24/7? My current uptime is 23 days, definitely not a personal high score.

There is no definite point value, but I would start around 60hz for the HPF on the components and coax. The components already have a crossover network, but the coaxials may not. The combination of 60hz xo point + crossover network on the comps should keep them from over-excursion, but the coaxials may still be moving too much. Use 60hz a starting point, and go up from there. For the icon, I would set it near the same point you used for the HPF on the front, and adjust from there. Depending on the front speakers some people like to cross their subwoofers lower, while others with a lacking front stage may cross the subwoofer higher. It's all preference.

If I were in your shoes, I'd spend the money on the front speakers and deadener for the entire vehicle. CLD tiles for reducing panel resonance (not for eliminating panel flex). MLV (mass loaded vinyl) for creating a sound barrier between the outside, and cabin. CCF (closed cell foam) for going in between plastic panels and sheet metal (reduce rattles).
-
Personally I wouldn't use any speakers in the rear, but others like to have that "rear-fill", I don't.
-
I wish my Ferrari could go rock crawling too. Of course a combination of both can be made, but you'd have to compromise.
-
Are you trying to improve the overall sound, or simply looking for more output?
-
Why? More output. I would also have to see how much output would be lost because the distance of drivers would be much further away.
-
Didn't gary biggs do something of the sort? Then again he had complete control over processing.
-
Assuming I can control any panel resonance and rattles, shit that gives localization cues, what do you think of 10" drivers for around 80hz - 300hz ish being thrown in the back of the car, one on each fender well area. They would be placed as wide as possible. Id also be crossing my fingers that the ms8 could t/a to go along with itd. This would replace the exodus in the doors. Goal is more midbass, and no more room in front. Not using the doors would be a plus as I wouldn't have to deal with all its rattles and panels.

Not quite six, but indeed a step closer to the big 40 Dun dun dun. Did you get to ride the other day? Got back early.
-
I know how old he really is. Ahh shit, he isn't six?
-
According to the board, Sean is turning six in a few hours. Happy Birthday, if the date is right. I'll send you some lincoln logs.
-
I don't know anything one way or another, but I don't see the Italian flag on the motor being proof. I'm sure a Chineese buildhouse is capable of applying stickers. Besides the mb quarts, what other drivers have you heard? Going to post a build log with your kicks? Or perhaps I missed it?

do you know how to reach fi, i already sent emails and all but im starting to get pissed, has anyone really received speakers from them? Yes people have received speakers from Fi. The speakers are made to order, and they are likely swamped with orders right now. You can email nick [at] ficaraudio.com Unfortunately they can't read minds, so be sure to include your name and order number.
-
Also have to be more careful with my hearing.
-
Although I have to say, even with the subwoofer turned all the way down, and windows up, I can still turn some heads walking by. I should stop parking in the same exact spot everyday at school.
-
Aaron, you've fucked up a lot of shit over the years, and now we want our shit fixed! You broke my moonroof, shit was stuck wide open for a few days until I could pull it out, and realign it. ho hum

Also, the seller put his name at the bottom as: "stephen", happens to be in FL, claims he is a college student, has sold over six hundred items, most of which are wiring harnesses, speaker adapters, etc. Oh and Kevin had a blow out while ago trying to get rid of a bunch wiring harnesses, speaker adapters, etc. I have a feeling the seller has a different name in real life. Buying a product from the owner of company doesn't normally seem bad, but considering the owner seems awfully fishy about just about everything he gets his hands on.
