Speaking of the vibrams, I got my pair in today, too big. Anyone want to buy a pair of the classics in size 44? say $45 shipped brand new. Otherwise I'll just return them. Ahh I don't have any patience, just sending them back in the morning.

Sure my metabolism is high, but I still wouldn't drink that much. ;lol:

I certainly believe in medicine, and other technological advancements, and yes protection for our feet is needed under extreme circumstances, but otherwise I believe shoes for running do more harm then good.

I ordered some vibrams, but I won't use them until my running is correct when barefoot. Also starting a lean gain diet.

Alt looks nice, little goofy on the output stud. Your doors look quiet.

Barefoot FTW! I have a good friend whose been barefoot running, nutrition, and paleo diet for years, so that definitely helps. There is a reason we have evolved and started wearing something to protect our feet, Our bodies may have evolved, but I don't believe nature intended on us putting something over our feet. Just my opinion. When you run barefoot, you land on the front of your foot, and with traditional running shoes you land on your heal. There has been dozens of studies that show landing on your heel increases the chance of an injury and reduces performance. You also land with less impact when barefoot. Sure there are times when your going to need shoes, at work, public places, extreme temp, but considering my friend can run a 10mi hiking trail through desert, and up the mountains without an injury or pain, is enough proof for me. I should also mention, you can't simply take off your shoes, and start running barefoot. Everything has to be relearned, and built up from scratch.

Well I've finally decided to get in shape. Focusing on keeping true to a routine. Also starting barefoot running.

mounting options?
ssh replied to pimpdaddy1787's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Heat rises, so heat sink should be on top, but if it's upside down then it might not properly dissipate the heat. This is just a thought, so I could be wrong. -
YOu can bet if I was out $400, I would be doing everything possible to get my money back. For me, it's the principle, not the money, but more money means more motivation. I feel the same way, just wasn't sure how seriously the police would take it.

I'm not sure, but heat dissipation may become an issue. -
If I bought something from a company, later returned it for another product / refund (which I have not received), and they cease all contact with me, should I file a police report with their local police department? Would that really get me anywhere? Only talking about ~$400, so I'm not sure if that would really be taken seriously.

I only know as much as I do because we were part of the same command. I do think a lot needs to be kept out of the news, but if/when this all spills over it has the potential to be HUGE. J Interesting. Off topic, do you know anyone interested in a sig 556? Has the rotary diopter, and sts-081. All depends on the price/trade wanted. J 900, no trades. Frostedflake, don't really want to deal with shipping.

You can get decent resin for the same price, but like you said it's a little more involved. I actually had the same thought as you. I'm planning on painting my box black, then doing a coat over to give it a piano type finish. Hopefully this method works.

I can feel and hear my heart beat in my right ear, so annoying.

Cool, you'll have to post pictures later.

Kinda like this: I put a sticker over the fiberglass panel, then did a coat of resin + cab-o-sil (or talc) over. Originally I scuffed everything up so it had a matte finish, except for over the sticker, there it was clear. After sitting in a car for a hours, it got hot enough that the matte finish turned back into gloss. I probably didn't give it enough time to cure, and you can see the sticker wrinkled and came up. I can't say that I know anything about polyurethane, just thought I'd share the above. Coat of resin sounds like it would work for you if polyurethane doesn't. Check out fiberglass forums, there's a lot more people there that are familiar with chemical products and finishing.

Oh wow. One of our buddies works at the base, and rides a motorcycle to work everyday, so when we heard about it we first thought of him. News still doesn't seem to know much, but that's okay with me. Honestly a lot of shit in the news is no one's business in my opinion.

I hope everything is okay man. One is dead. The other was hospitalized for awhile but is home now and doped the fuck out of his mind. This is one time where trying to be the bigger man got fucked up.......I wish I could say more, but I don't have everything confirmed............ J Is this from the motorcycle accident? I wouldn't call it an accident. But yes. J I heard some short snippet, but wasn't sure what all happened. drinking, riding bikes back home late at night, crashed/hit by car, other soldier stopped to help, and got hit by car?
