It's really unfortunate.

I bet all the people that work for college admissions think I'm racist when they search the web for pictures of me snorting lines off prostitutes.

They don't have a quick and easy test for prescription drugs either.

So in other words it traps the CH3CH2OH. molecule untill the cyclic sugar dissolves ? Ethanol probably isn't released until the sugar is degraded in the stomach and intestines. It wouldn't surprise me if the taste of alcohol was gone.
-
It's a cyclic sugar that forms a molecular cage around ethanol, so the powder contains ethanol.

Crossover help

They're considered midrange drivers, so they're likely louder in midrange at the expense of midbass. Eg you have a ton of bass output but you want to hear the vocals over the bass than they work well, but they probably suck for actual midbass from drums, cymbals, etc. As far as choosing a right midbass driver that's tougher. With the T/S specs you can model them in programs like WinISD and get some sort of idea of how they perform in infinite baffle (mounted to door panel) versus an enclosure (if door pods / kick pods are possible), but you'll still be left with "is driver x better than driver y?," and frankly I don't have an answer to that. The Loudspeaker Cookbook would give you a better foundation on how to use T/S specs of drivers for modeling. You could also look for popular 2-way setups that people have done that are proven and tested, eg what setups are sold on Parts Express and what were the goals of the people buying them in the comments/reviews section. -

Cross the Qs around 50-60hz. You'll thank me later. whys that? and whats a good midbass speaker to pick up at 50-60hz then?Of all the drivers I've used none sounded good crossed at 80hz, once I dropped them to 50-60hz then both the bass and midbass were clearer and sharper. Drums felt like a precision impact to the chest instead of a bunch of rumbling and vibration. For what it's worth I've had fi bl, sundown sa 12, SSA dcon icon xcon, all in various alignments. This is just my anecdotal advice, but I would be very surprised if you weren't happy with the difference in sound. As to midbass drivers the only one I've used is the exodus exanarchy but they're optimal in ported enclosures and I'm not sure if you can still find them anywhere. . try searching the forum for midbass drivers, you aren't the first to want midbass. -
best crossover frequency for 12's and slope?
ssh replied to audiohz's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
The reason people brought it up is that advising a SSF point is based on the enclosure tuning, and if the enclosure tuning is off than the SSF won't be protecting the driver from over-excursion as much. Meaning the likelihood of the driver being ruined increases. We forum members are spending our time to help you and all that we ask in return is that you don't waste our time by making sure the tuning is in fact what you believe it is. It's not hard to verify and choosing not to is just being lazy. It would literally take you five minutes. Good luck with your build. -
best crossover frequency for 12's and slope?
ssh replied to audiohz's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
that was actually a mistake its 34hz.. The box was professionally built by a very reputable shop. That still doesn't garuntee it's tuned to 34 Hz. If you have a way to measure the tuning I would suggest you do so. its 34hz i can garuntee that! None of my local shops ever accounted for port displacement, meaning they were/would have been tuned higher than expected if it weren't pointed out. -

best crossover frequency for 12's and slope?

I'd be surprised if you could even differentiate between 33hz and 30hz on the knob. You could always use a digital multimeter to read the voltage output before and after the subsonic adjustment with a constant tone playing and calculate the actual frequency--if you feel you need some insurance. -
best crossover frequency for 12's and slope?

On the subsonic I have seen so many different ways on that from half octave to 5hz below and 1 or 2 hz below, so I'm not really sure is the best . the box is tuned at 35hz subs are sundown sa12. Set it to 33hz. If you lack control with the bass/volume knob and are always looking for that little extra output to impress people than go lower. -

Adding another set of speakers making it a three way (not including the subs) is a bad idea. It's much harder to tune and you'll need more processing. Plus just trying to add some drivers to "fill the gaps" won't sound as good as properly selecting drivers that will mate well for your goals (whether it be a 2-way or 3-way). I know this isn't what you want to hear since you've already purchased speakers, but I would return them if possible, or resell at a slight loss if need be and properly plan out new speaker choices. Otherwise you're going to end up with a lack lustering mess of sound. -

Set the high pass filter / subsonic filter a few hertz below the tuning frequency of the enclosure. Personally I like the low pass filter set around 50-60hz, but you could try 80hz and work your way down until you're happy. -

He knows enough to clear his porn viewing history. I don't see any reason for switching if TeamViewer has worked well in the past. Does it require anything on his part in order for you to connect? Eg if he has a problem and you want to connect and fix it, does he have to start teamviewer and accept the connection? If any of that is the case then you could make it simpler by using the remote desktop connection stuff from the OS, where you could simply connect at anytime without needing him to do anything. You made me see if I could quickly connect because I know I did a reboot. An hour later I'm still cleaning crap up lol Haha. Does his browser have ten toolbars?
