I'd rather not stir the pot here, but I'll shit all over any other forum, and I'll do it with no remorse.

Finally someone with kicks bigger then my old ones.

Just to fuck with Kevin, I posted a topic in his section at CA, labeled: "Skar Audio 12" 156dB @ 27hz!," and inside posted about a link to the other url about his shadiness. It was promptly deleted, and surprisingly they didn't ban my account.

If you have the will and motivation, you can fix your obesity.

The other connection on the alt (covered by rubber jacket), is from the PCM? If so, then I'm going to guess it's producing 14v. If that's the case, I wouldn't do anything that requires lots of current since your main power wire is disconnected, and it'll try pulling it through the small wire for the pcm. At least that's my guess, but it's hard to really see what all is connected.

Sweet, I forgot that the enclosures would create a barrier/separation. *doh*

Not sure what the dimensions are on the box, but I would try down firing in comparison to the current positioning. Putting two blocks under it would make for an easy test.

As others have stated, you need more port area. Port area = width * length of square/rectangular port, or 3.14r^2 where r = radius for a circular port (in your case). Since you have two 4" aeros, r=2, 3.14(2^2)=12.56in^2, and since you have two, multiply by two, so 25.1in^2 is your current port area. Increasing the port length would lower the tuning frequency, and increase the port speed / vent mach (which you really do not want).

Programs like that don't instill much confidence in me. Especially when the exercises are constantly changing, ie: "Have to shock the muscles." Complete bullshit. I also flipped their nutrition section, and found numerous bullshit tips, such as: "you need eat a meal every few hours to stoke the metabolic fire." Why not just do a split routine, and learn how to keep your nutrition in order for your goals? There is merit to what they are saying, but programs like that have to be watered down and simplified for the masses. What part?

I read that the Savages were fairly customizable, and didn't require a gunsmith for a lot of the work, but I didn't know what exactly wasn't sold verse the rem 700, so I didn't jump the gun and buy one today. For the savages, I'd be looking at the 10p, and axis? I need to familiarize myself with their line more. Bean bag, don't know why I didn't think of that. I also have rollup mats for camping, so that shit should be good.

Never cared for shotguns, but that's badass.

Yup. My scope is 3.8-22, rugged enough to crush other scopes and be tossed off a cliff a few times and still hold zero, with custom reticle, illumination, knobs, paint, and a much much larger tube to allow for the maximum elevation and windage. It is around 6 times your budget MSRP. I got a fucking killer deal, so could probably sell for the same price I purchased or at least close enough I don't care. Larger zoom, costs extra cash. And its funny, but the bottom magnification is always more usefull than the maximum. I expect it to.

Well on a good note, I booked another job today, so it looks like I'll be ordering some stuff relatively soon. Everyone seems to say replacing the injection molded stock on the 700 sps-v with an aluminum bedding & free-floated barrel one is a pretty big improvement. It'll likely be the last thing I get, but B&C makes a Medalist Tactical stock for relatively cheap, and everyone raves about it. Also looking at the harris bipods.

Both are artifacts of zoom. God that warping fisheye effect makes me sick. I doubled my budget because the scope I was going to.settle for had it so.bad in 3 different examples. How does it get resolved for zoom without those problems, just better alignment? You can't, you can get better but it's FUCKING expensive. There is a reason that a good camera lens is in the $2k range without zoom. Photographers will tell you there aren't any good WITH. There are some very rare exceptions that just seem to be manufacturing anomalies that somehow make things okay. If it's a target gun do you really need zoom? I wouldn't exactly agree with that, but like everything, it's relative to what one considers good. My father is a photographer, and I would say 90% of his work is with "zoom" lenses. I couldn't imagine running around swapping lenses every thirty seconds. Not everything shot is in similar distances.
-
I'd like zoom because I believe it would come in handy. A lot of review sites from "snipers" use scopes with zoom, and aren't bitching like it's some terrible thing that should be shunned. Of course a good portion of those people are spending over a grand on their scopes, but even so.

Broke another throttle cable today, goddammit. At least it snapped near the truck.
