I'm presuming your doing this for a fridge/cooler, so I'm not sure this advice would help, but when I did the audio panels I found that using 3/4 oz chopped mat made everything easier. I had to use a bit more layers, but getting all the contours down was way easier.

Although I already suggest using a respirator when dealing with resin, I would definitely use one when dealing with the cab-o-sil. I'm sure it would wreak havoc on the respiratory system.

That would be very fucked up indeed.

IE: That's all I have to show for it. Quentin (Audibel Customs) would likely have more as he was the one who told me about it.

It's called milkshake. I know if you do the layer too thick the shit will likely crack. I've had good results with using cab-o-sil instead. Once your layers are sanded down. Mix resin with cab-o-sil, and brush over. The cab-o-sil is small silica glass IIRC, and thickens the resin. So using too much can crack as well, but it's very easy to get a smooth finish from a light coat, and a little bit of sanding. You can find it at us composites.

Ughh I can't believe I spelled "Know" that way. And nobody? Really? It's Knowbody.

Your driver positioning / orientation is fine, but your port area is slim, which can cause "chuffing" sounds, and limit output potential.

I did a little workout in the morning then went over to my grandparents' house to paint a room. Only in the 100s today.

Triple posting! Sounds like a good plan, just wondered. For the last six months or so, I haven't changed anything in my stereo. It's been nice.

I was going to say... Wasn't final in what I'd do either as I changed the volume of the box without the eq. Wasn't serious though so I didn't really dink with it. Just blowing time since i have better things to do. I was going to say... Wasn't final in what I'd do either as I changed the volume of the box without the eq. Wasn't serious though so I didn't really dink with it. Just blowing time since i have better things to do. Would there by any decent volume gain if you made a box partially out of fiberglass that contoured, etc to fit the area better? Seems hard to go wrong with as much volume as you can get.

Not to be a dick or anything, but I don't think anyone gives a fuck about mainstream rap in the hop.
