You could cut a large hole, extend the enclosure, and increase volume, but I'm not sure that that will help, especially if you don't care how it would effect tuning. what's the current volume of the enclosure? Port area? Tuning? Drivers? Amp?

Also been borrowing her laptop for tuning the mini, and I told her the other day as a joke that I mounted it in my car, so she needs to buy a new one.

Yeah and I was taking it easy because I hadn't ridden in a month, and well it was dry with zero traction. After the first loop we went back out, and being warmed up I was able to ride normal, and drift into the berms and such. Actually felt pretty awesome to slide everywhere once I was comfortable again. Could have been a tragic irony too because as I was loading the bikes in the morning, I told my mom "I haven't ridden in so long, I'll probably crash LOL."

Rode the dirt bike today, man was it dry. Did a two wheel drift off the trail at 45 and thought "oh fuck this is going to hurt," but managed to save it, and give a good show to everyone behind me.

Hopefully the vibrams will just work, if not I'll try the minimalist shoes for now.

Nah I just look where I put my feet. More then likely I'll actually be running down dirt roads, and trails in the desert, so I'll have a harder time spotting out cactus. My friend has been running for the past two years barefoot, on hiking trails and road, and hasn't had any issues. Perhaps he's just been lucky.

Or I might just order these: 2mm sole.
-
Yeah I hope mine fit. Another reason I got them it to help keep some sand out because I ended up cutting open the vibrams so my pinky toes would have more room. I actually wouldn't mind just barefoot running, but that would have to wait a few more months until the weather cools off.

Ordered me some injinji toesocks so the vibrams don't smell atrocious after running, and ordered a heart-rate monitor for 35 bucks.

I can't imagine why rum would be sweet.

What's your resting voltage (car sitting for a few hours)? What's your float voltage (after the engine is off)? What's your voltage at idle with the stereo off? What's your voltage at idle with the stereo on? You could try giving it a good charge (low amperage) over night, and see if that helps, but if it doesn't, and if the alt is working fine, then more then likely it's time to replace the battery. 1 old battery not holding a charge + 1 new battery is not better then 1 new battery. So don't act a fool. If your blasting the stereo with the car off for moderate lengths of time then that's going to drain the battery, and shorten it's life-span.

Saw that earlier, wasn't he only 56?!?!

I always find it funny when people like to ignore what they don't want to hear. Don't expect to mix a bunch of shit, and get good results. FWIW, your not going to want to HPF your "fifteens" at 60hz, perhaps you meant LPF. If your midbass is lacking, and your door are deadened, then perhaps it's time to sell the component set, sell the skars, and invest in another component set with more cone area. You could also try raising the LPF on your subs, but I'm skeptical of how good they will sound. Of all the drivers I've used, I always preferred the subwoofers crossed low (~50hz) compared to 80hz, otherwise it didn't sound appealing to me, but not all drivers are the same, so I can't say you won't have different results. Perhaps my answer is even worse--that's okay.

Can't fit 4 18s? Figure it would cost half as much. yeah, i think i probably can. i just wanted a bunch of 10's or 12's just because it's something that you don't see every day. Whatever floats your boat. Just seems you have contradictory goals. i always do. i can never make up my mind untill the moment i order stuff. i go back and forth with myself everyday, every minute. it's almost like i have multiple personality disorder when it comes to deciding what i want for a system. it's bad and it sucks Rash decisions are almost never good.

Certainly not an art snob though.

For a long time I gave zero fucks about 99.9% of art, but after taking a few art history classes and art, I have a better understanding and appreciation for it.

Looks like he still has one in Laguna. The last museum I was at was in La Jolla, but it was sort of a let down, but I didn't go there specifically for the museum either. Who, what? I stay in Laguna Beach every time I go out to my office. Seth was talking about Wyland. Looks like he mostly does marine paintings and a little abstract. Id like to see more abstract and surrealism. Yeah, Wyland. The thing I liked was his use of color. The deep blues and contrasting bright sealife really kicks ass in person. He had 2 galleries in Laguna, one right on PCH and another off a little side street. Next time you are out there spend a couple hours in his gallery. Some of his work almost seems corny, almost like he is trying too hard to be cute, but his serious work is awesome. Interesting that you would like surrealism. I would say my 2 favorite more modern artists are Dali and Wyland. Yeah, total opposite ends of the spectrum, but both just do something for me when I look at their work. Luckily for me the university has a pretty stellar collection, and its always changing. Pretty neat that some of it is from local artists too.

This on a Sunday night.

Doesn't matter how slow you start off at. Staying motivated is everything. Just keep at it. I ordered me some toesocks for my vibrams, and a heart-rate monitor so once it cools off I'll start doing the same. Also your more likely to lose weight from walking and jogging then full out running.

I was literally just about to post for no one to spoil anything for Aaron, but no one ever knows what you say any ways.
