    Welcome to the IHoP

When you say you need some intra-workout supplement, do you feel like your lacking some energy for your workouts because the lower daily intake? If so, you could try adding branched chain amino acids to your water. I mix 5g of bcaa with a little bit of flavored protein (I add the protein mainly to lessen the bitter taste from bcaa) with water. I drink half 10 minutes before workout, and sip the rest throughout.
  2. Hope your doing better now.

    How important is port area?

Then I missed it because so many people actually drink the kool-aid there.

I was waiting for some remark that would cue us that you were being sarcastic.

    How important is port area?

Haha. There you go again talking about things you know nothing about. Just visit the SMD forum - they will let you know you can't even begin to determine the amount of port area required without knowing how big the box is going to be. And don't even think about doing over 16 sqin per cuft - that is reserved for SPL applications only. Oh - and less port = better lows, more port gives you better high bass. If you can't remember these basic rules, just download everyone's favorite calculator over there - it figures all this out for you. Just keep reading my friend, you're learning. I hope that was a joke. so who's the joker BKOLFO4? or 95Honda? Bkolfo4

    Box Calculator

Sorry this is going to be a box for 2 fi 15 bl Regardless, it's still not relevant to Fi. You can put any driver in any enclosure. Still haven't stated what you specifically need help with. Did you randomly draw that enclosure in sketch up, or?

    Box Calculator

How is this remotely relevant to Fi? And as already stated, what specifically are you looking for? Modeling frequency response? Coming up with port length and tuning, vent mach? Cutout dimensions?

I would just prefer everyone leave me the hell alone when I'm sick and let me lay on the couch in peace. Not me. I want bitches in bikinis pealing grapes for me and rubbing me with heated massage oil. ROFL.

    which box for SPL?

well for 2 sa12's i would get a 1200-1500 rms @ 2 ohm. people in my other thread and at my local shop said i would need to upgrade my electrical system. as far as my goals. just want a box so i get some nice bass without cranking the volume knob, have having the music blow out my ear drums. also, 90% of the time i listen to rap, the other 10% is partyboy mash ups and dubstep remixes. space isnt a problem, i know for a fact that i have room. i have no clue what vas, qes, and fs are. care to explain please? Drivers don't require any specified amount of power, and they will perform just fine without meeting their RMS numbers. So yes 1500watts on both drivers will be louder then say 500watts on both drivers, but it doesn't mean the latter wouldn't be louder then a single driver, or sub-optimal in any way. Your going to want an enclosure on the larger side for increased efficiency, and better low end response. Vas, Qes, and Fs are from a set of specifications known as Thiele Small (T/S). Each represents some characteristic of the driver, and all together allows for enclosure modeling among other things. If your that interested in learning about it then buy The Loudspeaker Cookbook, otherwise: copy the t/s specs from the Sundown site into either previously mentioned apps, and let them do their "magic."
