Never thought of them messing with the diabetes, but then again I never thought of messing with such when diabetic. Down the road once I have more mass I plan on going keto for a while to drop some bf. Definitely want to give it time to get accustomed, but I'm curious how much (if any) it'll negatively effect my training. If progress plateaus I'll pop back to what I'm doing now, and just use it for losing bf for a few cycles throughout the year.

Must have had an extra 150-200lbs+ of body fat for the win.

Jesus christ. There was a study done on an individual who fasted for 382 days. Intake was only water and electrolytes.

How about this? Kreb's cycle

Gymnastic terms getting in the way?

I would kill myself. I had someone PM me wanting some help on designing an enclosure. Twenty PMs later he was good to go.... What did you charge him? Nada. Just helped him work with his max dimensions to net volume, adequate port area, port displacement that jazz. Basically all that was left for him to do was figure out the cutout dimensions. Luckily I did make a site for calculating all that so it took longer answering PMs than doing any math. I'm just too nice sometimes.

This is fucking awesome.

This is why I want to go. Here in MN it is so close to a need for us to hunt to keep the populations in check.. I bet you could rent an SUV, and "hunt" with it too. Insurance covers the damage, and you don't let the deer go to waste as a good samaritan.

Neighbor sounds like a bitch then. I was envisioning some flood light aimed near his house. /> He is a lazy piece of shit! Funny part is his wife makes fun of him. Damn. Is she hot?

It would be fucking awesome to have enough Jerky to last a year though....

Both my uncles hunt, and they keep trying to get me to go. Thinking long and hard about it. I have no moral issues about killing a deer as it's basic living and survival. No difference than buying meat at the store. Though I admit I'm sure I would have some remorse after the fact.

Sean have you heard any of Navid Nikbakht or David Martone's work? They made an album together called: "Synesthesia." You might like it if you haven't heard it already. Reminds me of McLaughlin and Shankar.

What lights? Sorta sound like an asshole without more context.

That blows about the suppressor laws in MN. I took it for granted since I'm in the shooting mecca.
-
I was talking about the 338. I'd imagine it would be around $1500
-
Why not get a suppressor if the recoil is that bad? I mean my .308 really doesn't have much kick, and that's with a light stock. Coupled with a tactical type stock + suppressor it would be pretty damn near a 22. Though if your not planning on shooting out incredibly far then the 338 would be sort of a waste. Plus ammo would be cheaper. I wouldn't mind building up a 22 for the sake of ammo cost.

Yep yep. looking at loading with black hills 168g pretty soon.

Icon Response and Kippel result graphs from npdang's review

This thread is over four years old. wtf. Note to anyone reading this: This isn't the current gen icon being tested. -
I definitely want to switch to meters since I got mil not moa, but like you said my dope sheet makes everything a cake walk. The trick is to just forget meters and yard and think about it all in angles and algorithms. Then skip the distance part and extrapolate right to clicks(or dots if you can hold over when your scope is true or if you have FFP)Much more useful in the long run. But like we talked about the DOPE is the real key. Learning the math is truely only useful if you are putting together a new system and trying to make new DOPE sheets. Etc etc. Or working with wind. And wind or other environmental changes are probably bigger factors. If you are popping a target at 1000 yards, for example, you could have 2 or 3 very different wind speeds. To further complicate it, the wind for the last half will have more effect than the first half so it would weight your calculations more because the boolit will spend more time traveling the second half of its trip than the first. So more time for wind to act upon it. So even if you do perfect math and have a kestral type device to check wind speed you could still be fucked as it will only be accurate for the wind speed and angle of attack on the projectile at the muzzle. Not 500 yards down. The clicks are 1/10th mil for elevation and wind right? And is your reticle true on max power or min? No matter what I am envious of your ability to just travel a short distance and have such looooooong shooting available to you. I have been bench racing and staring at a really expensive peice of glass for a looooong time. Yeah 1/10 mil for elevation and wind. The reticle is correct at max. On the other side of the mag readings it lists the number to multiply by for an accurate mil reading. I've slowly been making changes to my calculated dope sheet, and obviously aside from wind I can just check the sheet, and shoot for anything under 500y. Further out I've yet to drag out a big cardboard box, and double check the drop.

Yeah Buddy!

That's pretty cool actually.
