It's insane how fast these guys are.

In English, or German?

That Jesus.

Must have pissed off the room mate earlier.

just picked up a pair of 10" dcons need help with a box design

Another thing to consider is when you're calculating vent mach is that you can likely use a much smaller value for your power than originally anticipated. IE: Amp rated 500watts @1ohm, wired to "1ohm," but the average power will be much less due to a change in impedance across the bandwidth, so one could likely use 300watts or so instead of 500watts, and end up with the same vent mach as originally thought, and have a smaller port. -
Oh man, gotta love the hop.

Why do you guys need so many god damn screens? Looks like Macgyver's HQ.

Amazing! Yup, I'm not even into guns but that event seems very cool. I thought it was more ridiculous than cool to be honest. Half the time they weren't even aiming at shit, and just burning through a ton of $$$. Shooting the planes did look fun however.

Wait four hours, and then call him. /> LMAO. Just stop by maybe? Drink his booze and coffee, eat his food, take the sled out for a ride... Even better.

Local mud run with zombies. I'd be the asshole who brings a shotgun.

I figured you would--haha.

That's hilarious.

The rear looks bloated. Though I remember seeing the commercials with one in red, and I didn't notice that. I'm curious how reliable they'll end up being. Seth, do you know anything about the latest ones, and years prior? IIRC ~2012 models had some goofy issues. Fair amount leaked oil, and since it used a split engine case design they had to tear apart the engine to replace the seals--at least that's what I heard from the mechanics at the dealership.

Reread my first sentence, and look at the impedance vs frequency graph, and you'll understand.

What you're thinking of is impedance vs frequency. Impedance doesn't simply rise, but rather varies with the frequency. Honestly there isn't any real good reason to even bother calculating it, or worrying about it for the average person. Though you can use a multi-meter and clamp meter to measure the amperage and voltage at a specific frequency to find the impedance. You would continue doing this at different frequencies to make a graph, or chart. The enclosure alignment directly affects the impedance plot. Here's an example of why people think it's important for them, but perhaps isn't: Wired subs to 1ohm for max amp power (1000watts), so it's super loud. In enclosure xxx at 40hz impedance is 3ohms, so instead of 1000watts the driver is only seeing ~250watts. In enclosure yyy at 40hz impedance is 2.5ohms, so it's 400watts. So enclosure yyy at 40hz has a lower impedance at 40hz, and more power. More power = louder, right? Not necessarily. The green has a higher impedance from 30hz - ~50hz, so that means less power being received to the driver than blue, so blue must be better/louder right? Here's SPL for each, and as you can see green has more output in the same range than blue, yet the driver is seeing less power. The key point I'm making is people seem to underestimate the value of enclosure efficiency, and instead hype more power and or powering handling. The above program is WinISD pro, and it's free to download.

I remember my dream from last night. I got two tickets in the mail, one for going 4mph over, and the other for something along the lines of reckless driving because I swerved so I wouldn't run into a car cutting me off. Last ticket was for $860 some dollars. Woke up in relief... Day before I passed by a parked cop radar-ing, I eye-balled him as I went by, and he promptly followed me for the next ten miles up until my driveway. I know I sorta asked for the latter, but fuck it's hard to drive the exact speed limit.

Any way you can still fit some panels inside the enclosure? Ie: Put a big "45" across the back to take up a few cubes.
-
I'm speechless. I mean fuck.

Weren't you having the same issue with your email downloading stuff 24/7? At least it's through work and not personal.

The last sentence is the only thing I understood. It's sort of like someone thinking their food is taking forever to be prepared, but they haven't ordered anything yet. You haven't met German IT Oh I don't doubt you, but in this instance... Thankfully I haven't had to deal with many ITs, but the ones I do remember were often of little use.
