App for android phone? Though output level won't be very high. Or download a set of tones, and put on ipod / mp3 player / phone.
  6. Didn't Steve have some zcons with the CF dustcaps from Duran?
  7. I'm curious, is the dustcap blank, or does it have a logo? Oh and, it's a zcon.

I hear ya. Earlier this month I worked on making my stall bars all day friday, didn't eat very much. Then on sat and sun I rode the dirt bike, and made some more stuff in the garage all the while not eating much. After those three days I noticed my abs were a bit more pronounced after losing a little bit of fat haha.

I think at the end of the day it really boils down to eating whole food, throwing out processed stuff, enough protein, and adjusting kcal intake for goals. And perhaps being smart with your meal composition and timing in regards to goals.

If you're trying to lose weight, and maintain muscle than I would opt for a reduction in calories per day, and keep protein high rather than fast for long periods of time. When I did IF, it was only for 16 hours ish, and it was easy, but extending that to 24 hours+ seems a bit over the top, and likely counter productive for what you want.

You can use body fat for energy, but not for everything (as VO2 goes up, less fat is used). Muscle glycogen and glycogen in liver for glucose (I forgot how many grams glycogen stores are, but I wanna say around 400g +-100g, so ~1200kcal worth of energy), and once that starts running out then muscle breaks down for protein to be converted into glucose. So it's going to really depend on how full glycogen stores are, how long your going without eating, and what exactly your doing. <- As to the question about muscle breakdown. At least what isn't negligible.

Thought about that, but then the table idea worked, and I don't have to buy more shit. My room is starting to look like a gym.

I've been trying to figure out how the fuck I'm going to do this without a pommel horse: Finally got it: wrap stretch bands around table, lay on table with stretch bands over feet.

Partially, but 30g protein from meat is not that much--certainly less than an average steak don't you think?Probably, I was shooting from the hip and didn't quite express what I meant. I am fairly sure that large animal meat would be processed and eaten slowly all day as they preserved the rest. So a constant feeding of 15-20 grams of protein per hour was probably consumed. I really doubt that they ate bigger meals other than at a feast, or maybe after small game kills. Like a rabbit for bird. Then someone might eat a large meal because they couldn't eat it raw as easily, and it didn't preserve as well. Similar to your IF diet, some gurus talk about gorging as a positive role in health. Once weak eating like crazy, and then going back to a strict diet ever 3 hours. They feel there is truth to it because of the feasting and cultural weekly food worship we used to do. Yeah definitely, but sometimes people couldn't preserve all the meat they had, and so they ate all that they could. Animals certainly do the same at times. By no means was I using this as proof or anything, just some food for thought I guess.
