We were using the Sheffield Labs collection in my truck at finals. I tried to give you a copy of my demo disc but you left ... If you really want to tune for MECA, get their copy of the new judging disc or the Chesky Records collection. Hope this helps.

Yep, Same thing for my Son's 88 Ford F150. Think all we did was upgrade all of the grounds and everything seems to be working fine.

I have a friend that took a Helix processor and hooked it up to a stock HU in a Ford Edge. Said it worked great, but was lacking (not sure what exactly). To my knowledge, they added a Pioneer 80PRS in and made the factory HU a source unit for the PRS. meaning the Pioneer was the primary unit to the helix and the factory HU was then secondary. Something like that. I was told it made a HUGE difference. Maybe you can do something like this to get RCA power to the processor and still keep the factory HU. Please keep in mind that I'm only going by was was told to me about the Edge so it's only a suggestion. If you ever get time, Josh competes with the Edge in MECA Sound Quality comps. Maybe you could catch up to him and see it for your self and get some ideas about this.

Yea, you could be right there. I'd def. like to see what process goes into a modification like this. And like I said (or meant ot say), He might do it, I've just never heard of it. Thanks. Do you have a Email, link, number, or something that I could get up with him and ask a few questions? Having trouble finding something.

Yah, that's cause the cost of doing the mod would likely outweigh just getting another amp and selling the old one in most cases. It is very possible. One of my sponsors in the amplifier repair business. He does amplifier modifications all of the time. I've never heard of him talk about being able to take an amplifier that does not like to see anything less than 2 ohms and modify it to see anything less. Got nothing to do with cost. He is out of town at the moment, but I will catch up with him and talk about this ASAP.

Didn't know that you could get an amplifier modified to where it could work below specs like that ???

May have to set up a outside volume control contraption on that thing ...

Any chance for a stealth enclosure on each side of the vehicle with one sub in each rear quarter pannel ?? now this pic is for an amplifier rack option, not the sub enclosure ... So please, no jestures about the drivers used. It is not my vehicle, but I really dig this amplifier rack idea !!! I'm thinking a section was cut out of the seat to fit the amplifier rack. I will ask Jimmy if you are interested.
