Thanks bro ... But I spray my engine down and keep it very clean and brushed up all the time (every time I wash the truck) ... Those connections stay clean ... This is the same setup (for the most part) going on for 3 years ... If I ever start having problems, I will sure check this out ... Thank you sir for your input !!!

Awesome work Sir ... -
this is a must for those who are willing to do it... The vehicle is now the box... Would you want your box to be visibly flexin and floppin all the time? lol of course not. Do any of these to a daily driver though and it will not be fun... LOL ... sure ... The vehicles I've seen like this is almost as heavy as a loaded 18 wheeler ...

Thats how I've seen it done ... Or fiberlgassing the curves. This might make the calculations more complex, but I've seen it done ... Sorry, I have no pics of any ...

Not what they were designed for. You wouldn't put off road tires on a Ferrari would you? You'd be suprised as to what vehicles gets a set of BuckShots down here in the south ... Yay, more useless classes. Obviously there goal is to have everyone that shows up to compete take home a trophy. Can't believe how ridiculous competitions have become. Subjective are we ... like I said, its a crossover class to get SPL competitors back into Sound Quality ... You don't compete ... so why do you care ???
-
If you want to stay tuned that low and compete, my suggestion would be to build for USACI Street Q Class ... Sort of a SPL / Sound Quality crossover ... To compete in Street Q, you must compete in a active SPL class too ...
-
Awesome ... Mine is in stock location, my wall is cut with a fiberglass bedcover ...
-
and are you wanting to stay below the window line ?? If you decide to compete, below the window line will keep you in the stock classes (for USACI anyways) ...
-
Cool ... Is your Back seat gone ??

From what I have seen from the BIG number vehicles and talking to their owners ... One thing is always the same ... More flex equals pressure lost ... Reinforced metal and very thick windows, bracing, and literally bolting doors (and every other entry point) to prevent air from excapeing the vehicle ... Hope this helps out some and didn't get too far of topic ... Thanks
