good job <---- = my dream car. around 3000$ used, in germany. with all taxes, it could cost up to 2k to import over here, but it's one heck of a car. only bad part is that it doesn't have such a good gas mileage compared to other cars around here. 2litre petrol isn't considered an economy engine. more like a 1.9 tdi (same engine a in my dad's mk4 golf). they used that engine in the 80 cabrio so it's an easy swap in the coupe.

Better you than me my brother . Makes my arse cheeks numb just thinking about it imagine doing 400 miles a day on the german autobahn, in july, with no a/c. and beeing stuck in a traffic jam for 3 hours, during the hottest part of the day. autobahn has traffic jams? oh, and what horrible jams. a crash at 80 mph isn't nice. especially when the car is with a trailer.

That's one of my goals before I die . I want to drive at night on the autobahn. And a trip to amsterdam when we left from our friend he told us to take a specific highway. he said that it's the most crowded route because it's around frankfurt. but it's the shortest. at 10pm there was no traffic on the bahn. really cool air. bahn at night pretty cool.

mom is doing better. she told us it really relaxed her to talk with us this evening. with a bit of patience you can carry a conversation. just keep the tricky words out. my aunt on the other hand pissed me off completely. dad talked to her on the phone the other evening and i listened to the conversation on the phone in my room. she started complaining that it was our fault mom got into this chit... oh, and she kept saying : "blood is thicker than water". yeah, like after we moved last year blood wasn't thicker than water, she didn't want to talk to us. 15 min ago dad calls her. she told dad she didn't expect me to say : "we'll have to get used to mom beeing sick". i was like wtf ? is she THAT retarded ? i specifically told her we have to accept the situation and understand that we can't do anything at this moment. wtf, did she want to see me bang my head on the hospital walls, or slash my throat ??? noone wanted this to happen. it was like she was acusing us. trying to give orders in our family.

are they made out of gold ? a decent 2-way kit costs around 150$ here. including x-over and drivers. No, but they are CE filters to allow an 8" RS225 to mate with an RS28A. As a general rule of thumb x-over price should be about equal to driver price for quality, but with a CE it goes up a little. i'm pretty much a noob when it comes to x-overs and mating drivers. haven't built a single pair of satelites. i use 2 technics monitors i bought from a garage sale. cheap and with all original components. i may try to upgrade them in the future, but there aren't too many options as far as drivers
