eh, tires are tires. better get good ones. the ones on the dub aren't cheap, but they're worth all the $$

maybe it was added after august 2006 and it dissapeared along with the posts

Talk about insanely priced ... could be a whole lot worse, only about 100 per 400$ for a full set of tires the dub is still running on the same tires it had when we imported it. put 25k kms on them and they're still in good shape.

uv exposure + lots of heat ? iirc, there were some problems with the rl-i's when they first came out. it was something related to the preparation of the cone and the material of the surround. surrounds used to detach from the cone. it's the first case i've read about. i know of someone who beat the chit out of his logo-less cone 12 and the surround is still there.
