900 watts RMS at 1 ohm = 30 v RMS now, iirc the dmm shows the peak value, which means you need to set it so the dmm shows 42 V someone correct me if i'm wrong... all the subsonic does is filter the ultra low frequencies so that there is a reduced risk of overexcursion. if the icon is sealed, set the subsonic as low as you can. otherwise, somewhere between 5-10 hz below the tuning frequency is allright.

Anyone tried Isobaric (Clamshell method SPKR Mounting)
Adrian_D replied to Mega Heavy Bass's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
the way i understand it is that the vas of the iso group is half the vas of a single sub and that improves the low-end -
teh exam results are in total score 94%

there is a small hole on the top panel which connects to the motor vent. but the motor has to stay flush on the plate, which, apparently, isn't happening. and the foil need to be stretched even more. that's where i got the idea from : http://www.decware.com/panels.htm

the foil was really old. not sure what happened with it because i never used it before. had a small snag with sealing the vent hole and never managed to get it to produce sound. there still is a bit more of work to do.
