Yup, definitely a thing. After I got the Miata I got bad mileage since I was constantly flogging it. Same with the Jeep after I removed the muffler and then after I bumped up the fueling. And after I bumped the fueling I couldn't stop flogging it. Last night it was slippery on the road and I was powersliding everywhere I could Dad had to take the Miata for inspection, he burned through half a tank way faster that I could. "But honestly, I never shifted over 5k"

IMO, best way of knowing if filtering size is good is to measure vacuum right after the filter. And replace with a larger paper filter

That would be so awesome Mine's not allowed out on the street and if the gate is open, she usually bolts out. But for ~2 weeks she learned that when I want to get the car out, she should stay in the dog house and not come out until I close the gate. I'm actually proud of her, she's 9 years old

If you just want to read faults and reset the standard ones the amazon bluetooth connect to your smart phone reader for $15 works. I looked at them, but figured they were junk. Do you have one of have ever used one? Good stuff usually. A couple of my friends have something similar, they use Bluetooth ELM327 interfaces off ebay. Cheap, simple and they work well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-ELM327-V1-5-OBD2-II-Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Car-Auto-Interface-Scanner-S3-/200960099054

I think that a turbo is better since I don't have complications with belts and possible interference with power steering. If I can get the entire thing off the ground for $1.5k it would be awesome. mighty Car Mods did a few videos on how they turboed their MX5 Oh snap, plenty of people here upgrade their Subaru turbos... Thanks for the vid !!!

Hmm, I want boost in the Miata. Details on the powerdyne? Noisy? Lots of lag? Unreliable. Screw it then, after I fix the rusty rockers I'll figure out a turbo.

Already done by the previous owner in the Miata Can't wait to register it and drive around, top down, in freezing weather. Douche-meter is going to be off the charts

That one with 87k miles? Hows it feel to own a GM product again? I only did it because Seth convinced me. Sean back in a GM...

I've been delaying adding heat pads to the Jeep's seats. Going to buy 4 sets and do the rear bench too.

Port flares for sale, 8" and 10" diameter pipe

Thank you, they arrived in good time. Romanian products in Saint Martin, you need to take a picture of a flare next to something representative of the island
  23. I thought you meant Assembly as in programming "language"

Small block? Or did you mean short block? Year and drivetrain info would help. not sure I have ever seen a 2wd Escalade, but I never saw a 2 door Grand Cherokee until last Wednesday. What generation? I never knew about a 2-door Grand Cherokee. 2-door Cherokee XJ, yes...

    Dracula's Droptop

Hah, yeah, I live in the land of vampires. And I've visited the "official" castle. Pretty nice crib No subs, the Extremis should do fine. After selling my tablet, I'm getting it back and the PPI 900.4 should be here before Christmas. miniDSP can wait, the PPI has some processing.
