http://jalopnik.com/the-2016-mazda-miata-is-almost-definitely-turbocharged-1599646738 Turbo sounds in the new Miata? And it's rumored to weigh 2200 lbs.... Praise the Lord. Mazda, keep it under 2 liters, I want to afford taxes.

That's scary !

This EXACT second, I feel great. But I'm high on generic Sudafed a bit of Tylenol for this ongoing headache and a pretty (mild for me) amount of caffeine. Crap

Rewiring an old car is an opportunity to remove a whole assorted mess of wiring which isn't used. Granted there are less wires in the backhoe but it wasn't that difficult to fix and repair.

That's not something I'd like to do. But I have a ditch and it makes working under a car easier

That was pretty brutal

Hey, at least they'll be home in time for the 4th of July.

Tweezing is not safe? My ex used to say she doesn't pluck her nose hair because it's unsafe but never told me why. Disgusting...

Congrats, Brad!

Time to search for some good epoxy primer

Tried electrolytic derusting today on a rusty bracket (which I planned to replace instead of clean and reinstall). And it works very nicely. It takes time but after the solution and electrodes are setup, it's a piece of cake.

I was rooting for them too. Bummer..

hoe.jpg Shocker sign, I noticed stancers use it from time to time. Gotta get with the flow yo!
-
This reminds me of the amount of shit I got on a local 4x4 forum when I posted my rear disc brake conversion.

Stupid stancers...this is what you call camber Not this

70 cent part holding up a 70k machine. PricelessIs nice when you don't need a jack on heavy equipment. More like 2 $15 parts, holding up a 15k machine. One 10" o-ring and one 12" one. Transmission was lowered on a jackstand, axle was removed (150+ lbs beast) and dragged out on wood blocks. Repair manual calls for the entire transmission to be take out of the machine. Biggest issue is putting the axle back on, as the brake assembly (piston, pad and rotor) all want to drop out. And I first put the axle upside-down. Then I forgot I could lower the transmission even more to clear the frame. And I had to slide the axle in position on wood blocks and patiently lift it up by any means until I can use some old head bolts to align it. I should get the wheel back on today and take pictures to put it up for sale. Pity I didn't have any jobs to do with it after I changed the windshield. All my latest experiences were with a scratched up plexiglass windshield

Damn, what happened?

After some wrestling, cursing and struggling the backhoe rear axle is assembled. Hopefully 2 pesky o-rings were all it took to fix the brakes.

That's cool

I'm usually reluctant to update software, it's kind of silly, I know. But if it does bug me with tasker installed, I'll do it.

It does with Timur's kernel. Stock but rooted will work too but supposedly won't charge.
