I am so ready to drive topless. If you were a chick I'd definitely commend you, but in this case not sure why you are sharing I knew it was wrong in more ways than one. But you know what I meant.

GTFO snow. Weather forecast said it's going to snow today. Nothing so far. I hope it stays that way.

I still want a Miata as a side car. I've always found them girlish, but I just received my new issue of C&D today and the new Miata is in there, and I actually like it. It needs some more power, but at 2300lbs, well. . . That stigma is why I have hesitated on snatching up an affordable used one for fun. The power to weight ratio on the new Miata is nice. Bleh on the girly issue. Just like some measure their manliness by how many pedals they have. Speaking of the new Miata, I can't wait for the launch here. Test drive time.

Parts Miata deal fell. The owner decided to fix it. Had we gone there last weekend..... At least I'm taking the course and I'll be able to tow a car trailer behind the Jeep.

Good workout. The roommates focus ST packed in a squat/bench rack, a bench leg extension/curl attachment and preacher attachment. Crazy how much we got in there. I put the wife's bosu ball in the back seat. Trunk had $500 bucks in booze and Asain market groceries. You'd be surprised at how much I can pack in the Miata

In Rome Senegalese immigrants were the ones selling fake bags on the street. You could get a fake bag for very cheap.

Too much hassle. I have nobody reliable who can go check it. 400 miles round-trip. I'm going to take the course next week, rent the trailer and just go see the car. Then decide on the spot if we buy it. Worst case, we're out $80 per person (fuel + trailer rental) Car dolly?Impossible to find for renting here. Plus the car no longer has insurance and road inspection. Otherwise we could've drove it here. The seller rear ended it, bought it from it's original owner and is now trying to sell it to recoup some of his loss. With the bureaucratic jungle here it would be impossible to buy and re-register it under a different name. Simplest option is to buy and part out. Or maybe build a Lotus 7 replica. Or some crazy kit car. The parts list adds up to over $1500 just by judging used prices, and there is nobody parting out a Miata within 1000 miles. I'm not suggesting this, but I am. In America you could probably get away with either with the right choice of roads. Way way too much risk. You know, you don't get pulled over for 10 years straight and then when you are doing something "illegal" you get pulled over. Nevermind the ticket, you get a criminal record and they will also cancel your license for some time. If somebody hits me, I get the full blame, insurance doesn't cover anything since I did something illegal. Just thinking about getting in a shitty situation and then saying "man, I should've done it right" makes my stomach turn.

A light weight car..We could probably pick it up and load it in a box style UHAUL.. Thanks ! It's only a week delay, the course is cheap and I will probably find use for it in the future.

During the meeting at work today the boss came up with the idea of buying a dumbell. BINGO, I said I'll build a multi-purpose rack as long as they buy the weights. So I might have the gym at work

Holy bureaucratic bullshit Batman! Indeed. The law is pretty clear and concise. On the other hand, if they would weigh the whole thing I would be at 6800-6900# running weight

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

I found a Miata with some rear-end damage. A friend decides he wants parts (he also has a Miata), so we decided to rent a trailer and go there. If it's good, we buy it. If the sills are salvageable it would save me around $300 for new sills and the whole Miata costs $600. We'd have a lot of spares for that kind of money. All is fine until I read the traffic law. The combined gross weight of the Jeep and trailer has to be under 8500#. The lightest trailer I could find to rent is 2600# and the Jeep is 5000#. Nice, legal. Then I read the fine print: between 7000 and 8500# I need to either get an addition to my license or take a course. Both cost the same and the course takes a week. So no 3-Miata pictures this weekend

Yay ! I'm thinking about building a squat rack, a bench and buying weights. Should be easy in the summer and I can think of a solution until winter. I cannot make the gym part of my daily worship, and so it's not part of my life at all. If it's at home I know I can grind out 1-2 exercises a day. Rack can hold up to 600lbs, so I'm set for a while. Bench has preacher attachment and leg curl/leg extension attachment. So with some dumbells a bent bar and a flat bar I should be pretty set. Similar situation on my side
