Not trying to hate, but that UI is hideous and looks like a 1995 web page designshow me a better one I can make it look like whatever I wantHow is it made? I've been making programs in LabView where I make the UI look like Android material design. XML and pictures. Only trick are finding/making the pictures. You can find tons of free buttons on deviant art for GUI skins for gnome, KDE, windows, winamp, etc, just gotta download the zip and grab the images you want. Editing the buttons would be easy with Photoshop or gimp. Editing XML markup should be pretty easy too. "Should be easy"....hah, that's the bane of my existence. After I say that, everything goes to shit.

Don't you have a spare bike or three? If so sell em and make a nice markup. J Nope, I won't sell them, no profit to be found

Windows 8 devices are starting to look more and more tempting. And now that I finished my Note2 charging woes, it would be smart to change and go through that pain again. NOT Android or IOS are WAY too limited for a car install IMO. Android...yes and no, depends on how many peripherals you want.

The city is bombarded with road and utility work. Pretty ironic to think it is the European Youth capital this year and everything is a bloody construction site. The bicycle is the only reasonable means of transport to be honest.

You gotta be prepared man. See this guy? Now, when the zombie apocalypse begins, he's probably going to be one of the lucky few to survive and repopulate the world.

I won't eat that shit. They are all gross Small fast-food shops here are different. Fresh veggies, they grill the meat in-house, no deep-fried crap if you buy shawarma Best food in Germany comes from those. Lots of turks there, no wonder

Amusingly enough, this is a 22" size. Same main triangle geometry as my old MTB, which I really liked. I\m really curious how it looks with 26" wheels. I'll try my off-road wheel this afternoon

Lulz. That was taken home

Fucker ! ! ! I got another OBD2 interface and it STILL does not work with J1850. There's a guy in town who stocks a lot of models, even some with the ELM327 chip, I'm going tomorrow to test some out.

Speaking of food, I can't wait for the vacation in Greece. Yummy food In exactly one month from now I will be lounging on the beach.

Spent a tad north of $500, used to sell new in 2010 for about $1300

This happened yesterday: Shimano XT drivetrain, Xt hubs, Mavic wheels, Fox Float rear shock, 700c tires. All I need now is a good wheelset for off-road and I'm good to go

Having to do that doesn't seem like "Absolutely State of the Art Mobile Audio." It's not. however, according to the people at MiniDSP, these were not meant initially to go in a car. Nothing except the amps was meant to go in a car. Strange how I fixed my ground loop. The Zapco doesn't have continuity between the RCA jacket and the amp case either.
-
Now I have to make sure the amp case does not ground to that metal plate under it, or I will get alternator whine again.
-
Moar fun on the Jeep install. Alternator whine is gone, now I had some crackle. Crackle would go away from time to time and wiggling the wires I found out that the jacket of an RCA touched a screw on the amp case. When that happened the crackle was gone. Poking around with a wire, grounding the RCA to any ground made the crackle go away but the alternator whine would return, except when grounding to the amp case. So I did the old Pioneer fix (soldering inside the amp would've required taking out the board and I'm not going to do that)

Same as nicotine really,it is the most addictive drug..Much like keeping marijuana illegal, it all comes down to money and a lack of knowledge. J Actually, the issue with weed is how little it could really be taxed. It is super easy and inexpensive to grow. IIRC the total cost of growing weed is less than 5% the cost of tobacco. Taxing a nearly free to produce product in a manner that the market will deem acceptable is a difficult task. In all seriousness we would toss some seeds in the fields when we were kids, come back 2 months later and pick buds. It requires almost no effort, no prep, no cost. a few years ago one took a RPG I will see if I can find a link.. That sounds peaceful, I imagine that would happen in South America... Are you sure you're in North America?

First my condolences for the loss of your fellow countrymen. Any time something like this happens it deeply saddens me. That being said, wrong or right, in foreign Countries the US Government witholds the right to punish anyone commiting a crime in a foreign country before the local juristiction can prosecute. That being said, it is rather probable that when the Soldier was returned to base that he or she was given a BAC test and locked in the brig. Now can I guarantee it happens that way? Nope. But it sure as shit is supposed to. A lot depends on rank and that is pure shit. I certainly hope something happens. Please update us when you hear more Adrian. J It sucks and I hope things will be made right. Best thing now is to hope the people who he crashed recover well.

And another US soldier in Romania drives drunk, crashes and almost kills 2 people and does not even take an alcohol test. Last time this happened a soldier crashed into a taxi and killed somebody, nothing ever happened to him. Shame...
-
Holy crap, good thing that he's safe.

Make sure you get a thick wire. 24AWG preferably. Not sure what is available on the market. OEM Samsung chargers are nice. I had a lot of trouble with the Note 2 in the car but I finally fixed it.

did it burn through your tympanic membrane? I actually don't have ear drums. I had ear problems as a kid and had so many surgeries that they have fallen apart. They tried reconstructing my left ear drum, but it collapsed again. It is hilarious when a new doctor looks in my ears! No damage apart from the pain ?
