You are only as good as your install. Amazing equipment can should like an arseho flappin' in the wind if the box design and install is poorly done. On the equipment, i couldn't tell ya what is better. Both companies make great equipment.

It's a very interesting job, i get to meet pro football player and baseball players and get free game tickets. The best time would have to be when we installed the Arrrrrgonauts field in Canada in the Sky dome a while back, i got to stay back and watch the game from the sidelines (RIGHT behind the cheerleaders) so if any seems popped up i could go fix it, and they could continue playing.. nothing ended up going wrong though. If you really choose to get your yard done in and you have a nice size layout let me know, we can get every kind of Turf made, and every color, and we can make a Dallas Cow Boys logo for ya haha How much would a used SAZ-2000D run for?

I've read that a ton of times on this forum within a couple days, it has been pissing me off ina sense.. also i hate the way you have to set the gain with the Bass Knob. It comes down to.. buy another AQ2200 for 385.00 or buy 2 SAZ-2000D for 1700.00 and some change. I can't wait for the summer so i can start working.. I install Artificial Turf all around the United States and we only work in the summer, sometime we work a little past that if schools or whomever needs it. I don't have a part time job when summer is over, i find it to be a waste of time considering how many hours i work and the money i'll make.. isn't worth it in my eyes. Mostly i depend on side jobs for sport complex that host competitions for soccer, football, etc. etc. or the rich people in Scottsdale that want a putting green in their backyards.

Really wont make difference in power wise but if you want a better quality amp then go for it IMO. Both will do just fine for whatever needs you have. The thing i hate though, is i see everywhere people are like "AudioQue amps give out dirty power cause you need them to clip just to get rated power" whats your take on this Jay?

Should i sell my AQ2200 and get an SAZ-2000D? Hmmmm...

Amp Out Power
BanginGMC replied to wof131s's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I don't know if DJ told you this but for that amp you will need to set your gain like so: Turn your gain all the way up on your amp. Plug your bass knob in and have it all the way down. Get a test tone CD and put it in. Turn your H/U volume to the loudest volume you play it at. Turn the Bass Knob up untill the Clipping LED is a solid color. Turn the Bass Knob down a LITTLE bit at a time until the Clipping LED is blinking/flashing. Once that is done put in a CD a rap CD would be best. Turn the H/U volume to the loudest you play it at. If the Clipping LED on the Bass Knob blinks/flashes "when the bass hits" then job well done. If the Clipping LED on the Bass Knob turns to a solid color then you need to turn the Bass Knob down a LITTLE bit until the Clipping LED blinks/flashes. -
Whatever is rec. from the company. ^

Are you saying it is suppose to be like L but is like l ? or is it like _ and is suppose to be like this L? we need pictures to fully grasp what you are saying.
-
That's what i thought. i'm still a little confused about your terminals though.. im going to PM you so i dont clog up your thread. - that cool?
-
How much does a piece of wood like that take up? - can't be much
-
So it wasn't to change the air flow? - would that come into effect when considering the air flow?
-
Why did you decide to add that piece of wood to the port? - so it becomes split.

EDIT: oops nevermind lol LOOKS GOOOOOD -
Looks great! I have yet to seen that type of terminal for the speaker wire outside the box, very impressed. Can you elaborate a little about it? Also that bed liner looks amazing, where'd you but it? - or did you have to take it into a shop

Are you wanting to replace your starting batt? If not.. 2 x KHC1800 will work. Kinetik High Current Power Cells In the future you can use the kinetik power calc Kinetik High Current Power Cells An alternator from DC power or Mechman around 250-300amp will be sufficient. BIG 3 should be done in Knukonceptz product detail for KOLOSSUS FLEKS KABLE 1/0 BLACK POWER/GROUND WIRE KnuKonceptz makes great products and there strand count is pretty nice, so yes i say that wire will work great for you.

Amp vs Amp
BanginGMC replied to Puff Puff Pass !!'s topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Instead of making a thread about "is Amp X better then Amp Z" you should make one thread explaining your situation with your car, truck, suv, or bike and the equipment you have or are interested in getting including what size alternator and batts you have or are interested in getting then we all can chime in about what will work for you. You will get much better help that way instead of making threads like this. -

Looks great, have you considered installing fans in the amp rack? I.E. one side blowing in other side blowing out, it would give it a pretty nice air current flow with the plexi installed. What did you use to mount the plexi on?

Got it, thank you all

I don't know why but every time i want to change my picture it is a pain in the ass, does anyone else have this problem?
