Hey guys, I'm bullshittin' ideas around in my head about a temp daily set-up. until i do my BL What kind of electrical would i need for the set up listed below? I'm thinking a 350amp Alt from DC Power and a D3100 as a starter battery. AQ3500D.1 4 ohm power @ 14.4V @ 1% THD 1400W x 1 2 ohm power @ 14.4V @ 1% THD 2600W x 1 1 ohm power @ 14.4V @ < 1% THD 4300W x 1 AA SMD 18" RMS 3500w Also, if i were to double the equipment, could i still use a single alt and add another D3100? -- Or would that add too much then recommended stress on the alternator? I think you should get different equipment. You can get an XS Power batt for a little more change and you can get a Sundown amp for a cheaper price as well with it being around the same power. Some shops do amazing work and is worth every penny.. on the other hand some shops do complete garbage. We cannot tell you if it is worth it without knowing ANYTHING about the shop or previous installs. IF IT SEEMS SKETCHY THEN IT IS!

IIRC the 2400's are good for 2400wrms each. The D3100 is good for 5000+ Different batteries, different capabilities.

D3100 is capable of 5000+ as a secondary battery.. i don't see why you would need TWO of them for a total of 10,000+ if your only running 4k Unless i'm missing something here...
