I haven't gotten my truck broken into, yet.. but when the day comes it will be hard for them to take out my seats and lift the 300 pound box with 200 pounds of speakers in it in the nick of time.. So, if someone does break into it, they will just get upset and ram a screwdriver through the speakers a couple dozen times. Your build looks good though Very clean.

Denatured alcohol is what I recommend as well. Fresh paint shouldn't need any prep. I start with a water based cleaner for really dirty surfaces. An alcohol final waste just removes any residue, oils or grease. As long as the surface is clean, you are good. Something to watch out for if you've done any body work is Bondo dust. Make sure that's cleaned off. The only time CLD Tiles have had adhesive failure was on a car that spent 2 years in a body shop. After he got rid of the dust, everything was fine. Yeah too bad i already have mega fatmat or watever their "butyl" mat is so i didnt get SDS deadening products. I got it a while ago so guess im stuck with it hopefully it lasts even though everything i read lately says it won't. Its not fresh paint and has been in a shop til today so it will need to be treated wenever i get to doing it. I got some SDS products and it worked amazingly

If you're talking about cleaning the surface before you apply sound deadener... Use Rubbing Alchoal, that's what SDS says. I used it and it worked great for me.

I'm on Knukonceptz.com right now and i'm filling my cart with all the shit i'm going to need. I got 100 ft Kolossus Fleks Kable 1/0 (50ft blue / 50ft black) Two sets of Krystal Kable 2 Channel 6M Twisted Pair RCA Cable (that reminds me, where can i buy remote wire?) Now, i cannot think of how much speaker wire i'm going to need. I'm pretty sure i'm going with KASA Kable Silver Plated 10 Gauge Speaker Wire Car Audio Wire BUT i don't know how much... the 2 amps are going to be mounted to the box and the amount of speakers i have is 2. Suggestions? I don't want to over shoot by 40 feet considering i'll never end up using it and at 3 bucks a foot it'll big a pretty nice amount of money wasted.

It should be very show quality I'm thinking about adding an LED that we've talked about before. I'm undecided on a color though.. I don't know how you feel about Alpine Type R component sets, but i have two of them in my GMC S15, they are loud.. like really loud. I have them running off a PDX 4.100 and the placement for the 6.5s are in the doors (custom fit ) and the tweeters are in the dash ( also custom fit ) I've had issues with the police twice because of them. Heres a couple videos; 1) Just got it installed 2) was made to show how much space i had in the behind the seats, watch the whole thing and it shows me walk all the way down the street while its playing 1) 2)

I need to send it back and get a bigger size but here it is. (XL) I thought it would be a material like Jordan hoodys but sadly its not and the size is smaller then a M compaired to Jordan.. seems thinner cotten too The strings comming out of the hood are pretty sweet. Its like weaved with white and grey. The lettering seems pretty legit, i have a feeling it will shrink in the dryer so i have to hang dry it. The elastic type material on the bottom of the hoody and by my wrist is decent not too tight. Overall i am happy with the hoodys fi makes.. when i get the right size (XXL) ill be even happier. The measurements for the Large is: 26" long 20" wide and a sleeve length of 8" The measurements for the XLarge is: 27" long 22.5" wide and a sleeve length of 8.5" The measurements for the XXLarge is: 28.5" long 25" wide and a sleeve length of 8.5"

It's been hard to find head lights for my truck as odd as that might sound. I've called a shop on some HIDs and they said they don't have any because the truck is too old As of right now, my main concern is the sub stage. I get my subs today, they're out for delivery.

Mind sharing some measurments on that box? Looks like a BEAST! Always love the look of a kerf port. If that goes in the ext. cab portion that is goin' to hurt that poor truck. I'll get you the measurements, just have to ask Andrew for em lol i forgot. The Kerfed port was something i had to have. Just wait.... that picture doesn't even show HALF of the shit me and Andrew have planned out
