How much was shipping for each one?

The enclosure and install will determine how much "bassier" you get.

Mikes amp caught on fire.. so they decided to feed the little fire Oxygen, then it grew and grew then they put WATER on it..

I missed the budget, but noticed the power. 1 AA SMD could work for ya, since we're all giving opinions.

When they were blowing on it? Biology 101 We inhale Oxygen and Exhale Carbon Dioxide. You're joking right? If they blow from that kind of distance it will get more oxygen then Carbon dioxide. Nobody was smart enough to pop the hood and disconnect power wires? and then put water on it? Thank you Kirill

Front stage installed, possible feedback?
BanginGMC replied to BanginGMC's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I moved the RCAs away from the power wire and also tapped the shit out of each wire in electrical tape, that helped the humming. Pop is still happening, not every time though. I will read the sticky, didn't notice there was one. Not too impressed with the AAs though.. neighbor 7 houses down came over bitching cause they were vibrating her house -

So I installed my 4 AA Carbon fibers and my SAX-100.4 just now and when i turn my truck off a "POP" comes from the speakers, i only turned my truck off twice so i only heard it twice and i think its coming from 2 speakers. How do i get it to stop thanks guys. -

I love my PDX amps when i had them, although i believe they don't have a adjustable subsonic filter on them.. that might be an issue for you. -

lack of a pre out?
BanginGMC replied to smashedz28's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Yes, because it will sound better. All sorts of reasons why multiple sets are bad and not really any on the opposite. That's debatable... If 4 random Joes hop in the truck and go.. hmm? what the fuck i hear no sound back here because its all in the front. That's going to be bad, but if 4 SQ gurus hop in the truck and go ahhhh now this is nice. See the difference? What may be better for you.. isn't better for someone else. Now you can get technical with it and name off multiple reasons on why it will/would/should sound better, but i suggest people try it for themselves because your ears are different from others. He is talking about sound staging. And you really sound not be building your audio for your passengers, unless you are paid to drive them. Your ears, your equipment, you're the driver, your money, your car. I know he is talking about staging. What i'm getting at is, before people listen to someone else.. try it. You build your system for yourself yes.. but, just because someone thinks this sounds better over that.. doesn't mean the person shouldn't try it to find out what seems better to themselves. What i'm trying to explain might be blurry, it's about the install. JUST because you remove the rear speakers does NOT mean it will sound better. Everything is install dependent, that's what makes something sound good.. along with tuning correctly, just because you remove the back speakers isn't a guarantee it will sound better. For Example; Hop in a stock Dodge Ram 1500, disconnect the rear speakers.. is it going to sound better compared to having them connected? Probably not, rear speakers aren't a bad thing. -

New Front Stage Amp
BanginGMC replied to Shogen's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Might want to upgrade that baby amp first haha I haven't had any time to mess around with that amp personally, but you might be able to find a cheap(er) Sundown amp on db-r.com. Head room is cool, but not when you sacrifice performance, reliability, and efficiency. -

Y-splitters will work but you will loose some features like fading/blending because it will be on the same channel, understand? Now what i did with my 2 door truck is bought (2) component sets w/ (4) mids and (4) tweeters then replaced my dash speakers with the tweeters, i suggest you try that with the tweeters. What i WOULDN'T do is get rid of the speakers in the back doors if there is any... because you WILL notice them gone. I'm not talking from what i read online.. and i'm not repeating what other people said before in other threads, talking from experience Hope this helps. Here's a link to a picture of my dash how it use to be http://img405.imageshack.us/i/2133920.jpg/ -
