The SAZ-3500D is the successor to our extremely popular SAZ-3000D model. It is not only more powerful but even more reliable than the SAZ-3000D based on years of research in the SPL lanes and in the hands of regular customers. You will not find a better 3500-watt Class-D amplifier anywhere! Sundown Audio only recommends this amplifier for experienced users with an upgraded alternator and additional batteries due to the enormous power output potential. Hello Jacob, I have 4 XS Power D3100 as secondary batts and a Yellow Top under the hood and a DC Power 320 amp alternator (strongest the company makes for me) and both of my SAZ-3500Ds are going into protect when I compete. To give you an idea of my voltage, it varies throughout the competition, (Engine on, MOD5) at the start i'll the lowest drop is high 13's with 2k rpm. After about 3 or 4 runs (burps) i'm into 12's with 2k rpm. My amps will go into protect on the first run.. as you can imagine this is effecting me in a vary big way. I fused every amp with a 300amp inline fuse, 0 gauge all around, grounded to the frame. Do you have any suggestions for me Jacob other then buying more batteries and/or a dual alternator? Thanks, Domenico Zerilli

I decided against it. I thought a leaky box was better ( I do not mean this in a sarcastic tone only meant to be humorous, Sorry If it comes across that way. I know I haven't built any sort of relationship to where you'd see it as humorous and not sarcastic in nature, but I've read so many threads where y'all are joking around, I figure I can try at this whole online forums humor game) As to why there's no glue that was when I was just putting the box together for test fitting. I started work on screwing everything together first, so that I can take the screws out then glue it then screw it together without fumbling to drill out pieces while the glue is spreading everywhere. But i'm waiting on my mom to paint the box black before putting it together as the port will be unaccessible to paint once I'm done. I'm not quite sure if I'll like the black with a silver car. Any suggestions there? Black carpet is alway nice, paint on MDF just looks like shit unless a professional does it. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure your mom can paint, what mom can't.. but carpet is a much better route. I do like how the black came out on my amp rack, It was very pretty IMO. So get some cheap thin black carpet from Lowes or something and staple it to the MDF? Even a local audio shop should have some speaker box carpet for sale. Get Spray on glue from Home Depot, 3M spray on glue.

If that doesn't work, try this lol -
Anything wrong with gain all the way down?
BanginGMC replied to bimmerboy's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Most HUs can't put out enough voltage to cause most amps to clip with the gain set to minimum. And actually in the simplest of terms, the gain knob is precisely a volume control. DUN DUN DUN -
I know its rough as hell, but it has worked for the past 2 years..lol Im not sure of the weight but it hits the lows.. I tuned it to low and made the port to small.. only pulled off a 148.4 with it. running 2 old mtx 7801d amps.. Videos?

From my understanding its vibrating so much its making a loose connection? The Velcro idea will still work cause it will hold it in place. -
You did use glue with your box right? I didn't see any dripping glue anywhere.
