I give you props for cuttin' the truck up, I would never cut mine. -
Everything that has to deal with it.

How do I run dual alternators in my truck? The engine is a 2.8l V6 out of a 92 S-10. I want both alternators running everything, not one my truck and one my back battery bank/system. Thanks, Dom

Rob check your email! Let's get this thing started

Not %100 as I don't have a lot of the song names on the decaf section of my ipod. Yes it is Blurpt by Keak da Sneak. I have the same exact song on my ipod, from decaf.

1 month later and I still don't have my alternator.....
BanginGMC replied to Aldundra's topic in DC Power Engineering
When I paid for my Alternator I got it around 8 days, they answered every question I had, picked up every phone call, and provided me with a tracking number the first time I asked. When I got my alternator I contacted them with installation questions and they helped me step by step. -
Is that song Blurpt by Keak da Sneak

BUMP Per our conversation the other night, I'll try and find a bracket this week.. Cost wise, mid $200's probably, less belt plus whatever a bracket costs me... If you want me to do it, just post up here or call me/IM me on AIM... Will be a cakewalk to do. Hey, yes I want it! I was looking for an email back from you, didn't think you would reply here. Can you pm me or email me, or reply here if you like, a total with the bracket belt and 320 amp alternator.

When using Welding Cable for car audio remember it needs to be protected from oxidation and is not compatible with the AWG ratings if users do not know this, this poses a safety hazard. Welding cable usage for car audio, it's best to use 1 to 2 sizes larger than recommended. Welding cable is like CCA wire in terms of effective amp ratings and just like CCA wire, it needs to be protected from oxidation too. Also remember the ratings aren't at continues power! It's for welding.. not continues power.

Here's some pictures of my S-15/build

Wrong.. I'm 6ft tall, box is roughly 8 cubes behind my seats. 2 15s with a monster port. You just need a grinder to cut, cut, cut.
-
Yeah I thought about it, don't want too though. I personally would rather go this route. My new tweeters came in, I'm out of state again though for work related reasons.. I'll be home in a few weeks to post pictures.

Where were ya this weekend? Work? No, wasn't worth it to me to go. From what i heard though i would have cleaned house. True, wasn't sure how into it you were as far as racking up points. But I dropped by for about an hour, nothing very loud. Fuck points, just in it for fun. My boy went, he said the same.

I know that, even stated it at the beginning. But this is just a winter toy to get me till spring. Then 4 12's And cant do port up,not enough room when I mount the other amp up there... There is a looot of room behind the seats of an s series extended cab, don't let the first glance fool you.
