Hey I have a US Amps MD2D that the remote wire screw on it happened to break off in the hole that you screw it into. I was wondering how would I go about replacing the power ground remote block for it and how much that would cost. The amp was bought from an authorized seller at the time around 2 and 1/2 years ago. Its a 2005/6 model.

i'd stay away from ikesound you'd be better off looking for an older model MD2D like the 2006 one on Ebay.

15s are fun sealed :-D. I loved my RL-P 12s sealed. Although ported to around 20 hz could achieve much of the same results.

What exactly in laments terms does mH do? My SDX15 has 1.8 mH what does that mean to a normal person that doesn't understand all of the technical jargon that you guys do?

I plan on going 5.1 with my PS3 and a Martantz 7001. For speakers I wanted to go with a couple SDX7s and a pair of FR125S for my first 4 speakers and maybe use a peerless HDS for the Center speaker. For the sub portion I think I am going to go with a tempest-X and a 500 watt Bash amp. Do you guys think it is a good idea to use a full range to pick up at 800 hz and up since I hear that is there the SDX sweet zone is in the 50hz-800hz region. I'm not to sure how I should go about blending the SDX7 into my setup. Opionions? Ideas?

oooohhhhh. I get you now. I thought you were talking about the same brand but you are talking about the same product got ya.

what should I chose to be my center speaker?
-
I don't think CSS sells tweeters that they manufactor.
-
What do you guys thinking of the AurumCantus G2 ribbon tweeter? I really don't even know what a ribbon tweeter is I just want something that will blend well with my setup and be an asset. heres a link to it: http://www.creativesound.ca/details.php?model=G2 I want to use it as my center channel by the way.

I plan on using a 3-way active crossover by Behringer. :-D. Do you think I should get CSS NEO8 ribbon tweeter to round everything off for the center speaker?

soundss like this is going to be one of the best 12" subs out there for the sub $300 price range. :-)

That would be sick. I've heard of some people using 12"s that have enough range as midbasses in a 3-way setup. That would be insane output. -
I don't know about the D classes(I have a 2006 Merlin) but the MD43 is a beast. I've tested it on my RL-Ps for fun and it gets them going and its hell on my front stage @ 8 and 6 ohms. Its my fav amp of the Merlins :-D.

US Amps MD1D can fully power a pair. Maybe you can dig around and find a Zed Milinith (spelling).

Cheapest amp

If u want a nice budget amp that puts out clear power look into a Diamond Audio D3 line of amps or US Amps Xterminator. -
I'm going to install my tweeters today I wanna listen to them for about a week to give a real review of everything. I will be giving an exclsuive review on all my new front stage acquistitions including my Ensolite :-D.
-
I still can't believe how big this amp is for a front stage amp. Wow What a beast and I love the plexiglass bottom. I was thinking of going one for the amp and this saved me some time and money. Shes going to power a pair of Seas Excel W18NXs and Seas Prestige 27TBFC/Gs. They are in the mail and should be here monday or tuesday. . Thnx again Denim and Flakko for making a happy customer.
-
Indeed it does. Its power @ 8 ohm is insane. My Nextels punch just like my subs do so I can only imagine the power it puts out at 4 ohm and 2 ohm.
-
If you want a great price on some sound deadning I'd go to Raamaudio and contact Rick and ask him about his BXT product and Ensolite. Would be cheaper than dynamat and you wouldn't have any closed cell foam mat if you went with the mat for the price.
-
If i were you I'd just on that Zed amp ASAP. great price, great power, great quality, great relability, and great cosmetics ...
-
I got my MD43 installed last week and I love that thing to death. It makes my Nextels pound like subs @ 8 ohms :-D. I'll have a full review on em once I get my tweeters back from madi monday and install them next week and get some time to do some real testing with my system at full strength. I just know the amp is a BEAST @ 8 ohm so I can only imagine what it would do if I needed it to carry a 4 ohm or 2 ohm load limit.

site looks sexy as hell. i like reading the magazine reviews in PDF.

Yo Jim u got any more High Quality record label recommendations? I'm checking into Telarc and they seem pretty rock solid. :-D Hook us up with some more labels, groups, etc. with that quality classical digital music.

In case you couldn't tell I have a pair of Seas Excel 7" W18NX-001 & Seas Prestige 27TBFC/G tweeters. These things sure are beefy. I've never seen a tweeter quite like this one up close in real life hehe. Can't wait to get these things mounted and installed this weekend. I will be posting a nice review on them and the MD43 after about a month of listening and making sure everything is all set up and ready to be assesed.

I wish I could make it. US Amps should move to Mississippi so I can go :-). That would be sick then I could get a home state discount for making such a sick suggestion.
