bandpass or ported in a 325i bmw sedan
steveo50 replied to mikeyraw215's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
it was in my old 01 325 i it was a 12" deathrow not sure of the tune. it was great not like its going to throw up crazy numbers but was very nice and you will have to get some front stage. it would hammer the lows like it was amazing to me. -
ok just did 5 hours worth of work installing my amp to the door speakers. i used a old crapy american pro amp like 600 watt rating or something the gain is all the way down fyi. well wow is all i can say for these the tweets are amazing the the mid bass is awesome. i turned my sub off just to hear the mid very very clean set up.

Well thank you for the reply. I will prob just run an amp to them. -
ok i want to throw a after market amp in my truck. i found this on a forum for my car seems like a good idea and a time saver...im trying to amp the speakers in my front doors. edit:link wont show up but this is what i found so it is a quote and i have the bose stock amp . "well it depends on what kind of stock system you have.. if you have bose, the bose am is located in the rear quater panel pass side.. if your end goal is to use an after market amp, you can just cut the wires from the amp ( leave some room just incase you wanna use the factory amp again) and run wire from the amp to the wires you have just cut.. on my bose amp the side that leads to the speakers is the side closest to the rear lights ( right side of the amp if you are looking at it). if it is a standard factory radio not sure if the amp is built into the radio but if it is you can just do almost the same thing.. cut the wires behind the radio and run new speaker wire with ur RCAs back to the new amp. either way this will keep your factory wiring that runs to the speakers making it easier for you to hook them up to a new amp."

i will be using a after market hu and door speakers. pretty much if the power wire is to small ill just run another power wide and that whole deal. i just don't want to run wires to my door id rather just use the stock wires.

Yea I talked to the guy who sold them to me. He said I have the crossover hooked up to a midbass out put so the tweets aren't getting the highs. I need to hook up a amp or take out the stock tweets in the dash and put the highs out put to the cross over -
I'm on my phone its hard to nav the site. I will assume its for a home then?
